Is the narrator/host giving a mocking or disrespectful tone? It seems to me Serre detects it too, responding with tight smiles and repeating his words. My first language is French but I don’t speak it regularly anymore. I know I could be wrong!

Nah he is not, he is always speaking like that. Loic Prigent have always done that with anyone, Lagerfeld or Gaultier, or the new faces ... He's emphasising on the fact that mode is just mode, it's just clothe ... Some people, when they talk about, or talk with creators, they treat them like they are gods or something like that. Prigent doesn't have this "omg its so cool, its so good omg its the futur ur genius" behavior ... It's not at all mocking or being direspectful ^^ ( I hope i've manage to explain clearly enought, i'm sorry ^.^''')
