So did u buy it? Did you also get a mechanical inspection? I am attending my 4th survey tomorrow. I have rejected 3 boats now. My next survey is on a 2006 Sea Ray 280. That 360 is beautiful.

I was the listing agent for the boat. This surveyor inspected the engines but you could get someone to inspect and check just the engines as well, like a Mercury mechanic. Check with your surveyor and see if he/she plans to check the engines and to what extent. The 280 is a nice boat-hope it goes well for you 👍

How long does a boat survey take? A few hours? A whole day? 2 days?

Depends on the boat and it’s components. Some larger boats can take a couple days. This 36 Sea Ray took a little over half a day.
