I do the same thing as you! The only thing is that some patterning is not mirrored. My boat has a gusset on one side and a wrap on the other. Love the video. Keep it going!

Love the videos. Would like to see how to make patterns from scratch. All my practice has been on old ripped and shrunk fabric. Im not too bad at sewing but the pattern making has been tough. Usually have to go back and adjust 2 or 3 times (or more 🤔) to get it close. Especially curves

How can you tell when a previous vinyl is not marine grade?

Marine will feel different (more substantial / heavier). Marine grade will not have any kind of fabric backing on it.
