1. 聽聞排屋群首尾兩幢的「End of Terraced House」的面積一般較大，是否屬實？維多利亞時代的排屋是否也一樣？ 2. 排屋能否向後園擴建，以擴大其面積？ 3. 能否購入兩幢相連的排屋，然後將兩者之間的分隔牆壁全部拆除，把兩幢排屋二合為一？ 4. 能否把排屋的三角形屋頂擴建為第三層，又或者直接增建第三層？

Birkenhead that I knew was pretty safe. I walked through those back alleys in the middle of the night all the time. I lived in park road south for a few months. But it was about 40 years ago.

Is Birkenhead good and safe for living given our budget not much ?

Relatively not very good in general but still depends a lot on the neighbourhood you live in, heard many people saying the area they live are not bad. In terms of cost, it’s definitely worth considerations.

請問利物浦市中心有無船或巴士去 Birkenhead 架 ? 交通方便嗎？

有Train來往利物蒲同Birkenhead (Birkenhead Hamilton Square Liverpool James Street)每10分鐘一班，車程只需3分鐘, 費用係£2-3，視乎係咪繁忙時間，另外都有巴士，每30分鐘一班(Birkenhead Grange Road Liverpool Derby Square)

都係，無計，平啲嘅區好自然吸引一啲經濟條件無咁好嘅人居住，經濟條件又往往同crime rate成反比，定律... 有辣就有唔辣~ 我嗰日spend咗一日喺嗰邊就覺得啲人都幾nice, 作為”遊客”就無感受到唔安全嘅感覺，但經濟堅差，好多鋪頭執咗笠😔

Haha. You need to do better research about Rock Ferry. Good school ?!? There are plenty of good living area in Birkenhead. Try Oxton, Claughton, etc which has more much better schools network!

I think people who bought UK properties before 2019 were mainly for investments / backup plan to support their children going to UK universities in the future. But nowadays, HKers buy properties for true living. We really have to stay here as a “shelter” and I thank Uk government for taking care of us, giving us a new “home” from my deep heart. HKers buy properties to live and some of them also do BTL for income to support their new life in UK. FYI, there are some newly migrated HKers proactively arrange volunteer works to help cleaning the city, and doing different kinds of volunteer works. So I definitely think we are not just trying to integrate into the society but also to contribute~

@@marineenge let’s hope that is the case, I see more that come here and have this sense of superiority over others. BTL then do absolutely nothing else then to local is just another way of inflating the local price. Uk is good place to settle down if you embrace it
