I am a full-time college student, and I have my MCX Rattler rides on my Vertx commuter sling 3.0 daily, an Omega 300 can, a 30-round mag, a MacBook Pro 16, a pen, and a pencil. Also, a G19 on my appendix. Unnecessary? Absofuckinloutely yes. I rather have it but don’t need it than need it but don’t have it. Act normal, blend in, and no one will ever know I loaded.

Digging this backpack so far. Didn't want to upgrade from the 2.0 but had to get rid of the velcro on the botttom. Bought a couple of the triple elastic organizers. Fits TQ, extra mags, and a disruption device no problem. I love turning it around and using it as a on the fly plate carrier.

I'm not sure about the knife. I don't know of any college campuses that allow their students to carry self defense knives, and they can face some heavy academic consequences if caught unfortunately :/ I would include a personal trauma kit to treat any injuries instead

@tonyxie2823 oh yeah well a gun is obviously a big no, but you can actually carry pepper spray on most college campuses and a pocket knife if you want it as a tool

It depends on state, campus, and major. I was an environmental major, our campus prohibited them. Everyone in our program including our professors still carried them and it was actually expected in certain courses like field botany. Long as you aren't open carrying or pulling it out at inappropriate times most don't care. Just make sure it's legal.

What are your thoughts on bulletproof skateboards and skating helmets? Would you be open to doing a video on them? I always liked to carry a skating helmet strapped to my backpack in high school. For a while I even used a retro golden glitter motorcycle helmet from the 70s when I was younger (in the early 90s) because we always had tornado drills at school and they had us put our books over our heads and it freaked me out so I thought helmets would be better. When I got to junior and high school, everything was sk8r chic anyway (I still use the same chain wallet I got from Gadzook's in the 6th grade, minus the actual chain). They seem very unassuming to me because who's going to see sk8r gear & think that's the person with all the body armor and weapons....

Dont think knives and guns are allowed on campus around here. But rest of gear is good and would add other stop the bleed items. My pac has a few extra edc and med items along with a balistic panel. Semper Fi/Semper Fortis Brother
