I think I have a good back story for why Kamek wasn't invited to the Olympics: *It was an ordinary day in Darkland at the Koopa castle and Kamek was in his potion room, practicing his magic. But then he was interrupted by a knock on his door.* Kamek: Door's open! *The person who was knocking was the mail Paratroopa holding a small pile of mail for Kamek.* Mail Paratroopa: Mail for Mr. Kamek Magikoopa Kamek: That's me. *Kamek too his mail from the mail Paratroopa and started to throw the junk mail and saw the letter he wanted: The 2014 winter Olympics.* Kamek: Finally! I've waited to long for this! I wonder if I'm in or not. *Kamek opened up the letter and started reading.* Kamek: *Reading* It has come! From the Nintendo and Sega olympic officials would like to present that the next winter olympics would be locates at Sochi, Russia. Many of the characters from Mario and Sonic will compete in events to win 1st, 2nd, or 3rd. *Kamek kept on reading his letter until he have received the news that was unexpected.* Kamek: *Continue on reading* Dear Mr. Kamek Magikoopa, we're SORRY?! to say that you are not accepted to join Mario and Sonic's friends at the Sochi olympics. We are hoping that you are not upset with the bad news we have given you. Sincerely, the Nintendo and Sega olympic officials. *Kamek grabbed his wand and burned the letter into pieces. He couldn't believe that he won't be joining his master at the olympics. Suddenly, he hears the door knocking. The 2 people who walked in was Bowser and Bowser Jr. with smiles on their faces.* Bowser: Yes, we're going to the olympics Junior! Bowser Jr.: I wonder what Sochi will be like? Bowser: Hey Kamek, did you got invited as well? *Kamek shook his head 'no' and was forming his hands into fists.* Bowser: That's too bad, Kamek. Anyway, me and Junior are going and we're showing Eggman and Robot Sonic who's boss! Bowser Jr.: Papa, can we go out for ice cream and sandwiches to celebrate our achievement? Bowser: *Sigh* Well... okay. *Bowser Jr. smiled while his dad was tousling his little ponytail.* Bowser: But ask your brother, Ludwig if he wants to come. Bowser Jr.: Okay, papa. *While Bowser and Bowser Jr. left Kamek's room, Kamek started conducting 3 plans to crash the olympics.* Kamek: If I can't be at the olympics, then I'll crash instead! *Day of the olympics* *During the Mario spectacular skating event, Bowser, Bowser Jr., Dr. Eggman, and Metal Sonic were figuring skating around the rink until they heard a familiar laugh.* Bowser: *thinking* why am I hearing Kamek's laughing? *Then out comes Kamek on his broom with an army of Paratroopas, he started waving his wand around forming a cage with the Toads in it.* Toads: Help! Help us! Kamek: *Ordering the Paratroopas* grab the cage and let's go! Paratroopas grab the cage and follow Kamek out of the pleasant ice rink.* Bowser: *angry thinking we are going to have a serious talk after this, KAMEK!

The game looks amazing, but i'm not impressed. Both Nintendo and Saga have enough creativity to make a "Mario and Sonic Adventure Game." They had the right idea when they made the adventure mode option in these types, witch kept me entertained for hours. Maybe if they took concepts from Sonic Colors and Super Mario Galaxy 1&2 with Bowser and Dr. Eggman as the main antagonists. The story line good be simple and even change depending on witch character you pick in a select screen or something. For example: Eggman creates something that make the emeralds go out of control and some how warp into the Mario World. Bowser steals the power stars once again but Eggmans creation some how warps them into the Sonic World. Both Mario and Sonic and a few other characters must collect there opposite power source to meet up and defeat Eggman and Bowser. They would meet up in the first cut seen after collecting the first power source. This is just wishful thinking...but i'm starting to get sick of the Olympic Series. Would be nice to see something different. Are you taking notes Nintendo/Saga?
