Very few players who can strike the ball like him from long range… that goal vs Germany was a prime example. An absolute rocket into the top corner. He always seemed like a misunderstood guy… hard to believe that Italy couldn’t bring him back into the fold when they were so desperate for strikers for so long.

Se avesse posseduto la "testa" giusta, avrebbe potuto diventare un campione leggendario. Resta comunque un grande campione, uno che ha vinto tanto: campionati (nazionali ed europei), classifiche cannonieri, coppe, e in carriera (finora) ha fatto 1 gol ogni 2 partire e mezza.
