Eine Konstante ist bei Mario Biondi immer vorrätig. Ganz gleich, ob er die Songs anderer Künstler*innen interpretiert oder eigene Lieder singt: Er hat dabei den Soul im Leib und die Satin-Bettwäsche serienmäßig auf den Stimmbändern. Geboren 1971, hat der Italiener ein Faible für „Black Music“ und verehrt Musiker*innen wie Aretha Franklin, Marvin Gaye, Sade und Al Jarreau. Sein sonorer Bariton erinnert an Barry White und huldigt den Qualitäten des legendären Soulsängers.: Wenn Biondi loslegt, klingt das so cool wie einschmeichelnd und erotisch.
