Grey Dolphins aren't Mario's friend. You get directly on the back of blue dolphins alright, but even when grey dolphins lift you up, they have a platform between them and Mario, so Mario don't ever touch them.

This game is pretty cool. Definitely noticing some heavy Celeste inspiration in this game. Especially with the silhouette stage when the blooper was attacking you, that is a 1 to 1 mechanic from a level in Celeste, then the area immediately after that where you go into the orbs there's another mechanic that is pretty much a 1 to 1 copy from a mechanic in Celeste. I think this game is telling you to play Celeste Darby LMAO!

Most of the stuff I would have said as a separate comment was as a reply to the creator's comment. This goes without saying but I am looking forward to the next episode when it releases. I like the fact that Lakitu saves Mario in the rift. I wonder why he lifts him backwards even the forwards platform is closer though. Maybe he doesn't really want anyone to collect the star but doesn't want anyone to die trying either. Perhaps he doesn't want to make Mario fall on purpose because otherwise he would have to do too much heavy lifting and he may not be powerful enough to collect the star himself.

Spoiler: If you are willing to collect all the rainbow shards, a seemingly unopenable level that is situated above Sunset Shipyard opens up. Upon entering Starry mentions that when a rainbow star is destroyed it can create a rift, where if anything other than a Star or Star creature enters in, the rift will fall apart. You will have to escape, because, well, Mario's a human. It introduces a new mechanic and a hidden speedrun wall jump mechanic involving a dive. Ok I think I'm spoiling too much so this comment ends here.
