I think it is worth mentioning that Coach Cristobal had the confidence to go for it on 4th down on the Miami side of the field a couple of times, and that the team responded by bearing down and getting it done. Nothing fancy, just smash mouth football in short yardage situations, an offensive line executing their blocks, and running backs who weren’t about to be denied. If either one of those 4th down conversions failed, a struggling defense would have been put in a bad spot, and Cristobal would have been criticized and scrutinized. Kudos to Coach!

I'm happy for the win. I'm glad that the 81 mg. aspirin and bp meds did their jobs too. The offense was pretty good outside of a few mistakes. The special teams 'coach' needs to be forced to walk home from Kentucky...or at least made to take a bus back. Between special teams and the abominable safety play, they nearly cost the team the game. Mario obviously isn't challenging his coaches. They've stunk the joint up in those areas. Thank God for the miracle fumble recovery in the end zone for the 'Canes. That was the lone bright spot. Things needs to be adjusted and corrected in those rooms..and FAST! FSWho comes to The Rock next weekend. The Seminoles won't be going to a bowl game, so next weekend when they come into town, it WILL BE their 'bowl game' and good 'ol G5 Mike will have his team pumped up and going for 4 straight wins over the 'Canes. He's going to throw everything, including his kitchen sink and maybe even a weeks worth of unwashed underwear, at the 'Canes. Let's get it fixed, Mario, before Julio finds out.

I watched Georgia last night and they stopped a good offense, they got some beast out front defense does need to get better either other players the can actually tackle.we undefeated but to me not a good look to get where we want to get. Still love my team just a concern go canes.

There’s no fixing this Defense. It’s a personnel issue. Coaching is fine. Just need to keep recruiting and hit the portal. Mario was handed a complete dumpster fire of a program. The culture is changing let him cook. Miami fans were delusional thinking we’ve always “had talent”. No we haven’t.. not since 2003-2004. We’ve had guys sprinkled in here and there but not stacked year over year. Like Ga, Bama, Clemson, etc. it’s coming give him time n

GTFOH! This coach is incapable of getting a team to play at its talent level much less ABOVE the talent level. Many coaches that don't make $10M/yr can do that. It's like we hear folks commenting on where the players are slow or not so talented. Yeh, don't we expect coaches to not be able to make a difference? Isn't this where we would expect a coach to develop schemes or a plan that can be executed by the personnel and talent that he has. Jesus Christ! I swear the Canes would have the same record right now if they were rolling without a head coach, special teams coach (not a one game issue), or a defensive coach. They are winning on sheer talent alone at this point.
