Mario Golf: Super Rush - One On, One Putt (New Donk City Pro)

Here is the One-On, One-Putt challenge on the Pro version of the New Donk City course with the new character, Shy Guy. Since you have to get a birdie on every hole, there are some holes where you need to hit a bank shot or use a Special Shot.

Almost every one of these holes is so stupid! I’ve made it to 14 ONCE! Every other time it’s hole 7. ‘Oh you were off by a pixel? Enjoy bouncing off the roof into fox knows where!’ ‘Nice shot! Fail! Fail! Fail!’

Did you try using a special shot? If so and that didn't work, try moving your character's shot trajectory upward a bit. Super backspins also helped me out there.

@@crazyluigi6664 I play Ninji all the time. His is a bouncy shot so it wouldn’t help, and yea I do adjust. Always slips off into the rock.

@@silverwolfgamer4100 You try doing super backspin or a regular backspin while going full power then? I did full power with King Bomb-Omb and I aimed it just right to where it hit a building, but make sure it landed on the green for an easy putt right back.

Congrats on beating this challenge! I only have made it to Hole 12 playing blind, so I appreciate insight on how to approach some of these holes. A lot of the holes for this one seem quite daunting! I found the Shell Sanctuary Pro course to be miles easier than this one.

Honestly quite an infuriating challenge! It's a good way of trying to better yourself in hitting the green more frequently in fewer strokes, but I never realised just how challenging that is lol. What is also a shame is certain tough holes (like hole 7) invalidates certain character specials...learned that the hard way. xD I appreciate the video, really helped me understand where I should be aiming and positioning since in a few of these I was going a little wrong.

Yo, thanks for the guide, man! With this, I was able to get past holes 7 & 8 (the hardest of the lot, if you ask me), as well as that weirdly brutal hole 14 green. I also got the challenge completed with King Bomb-Omb, and I shall never do that challenge again on this section of New Donk City because of it.

Holes 8 and 9 are the worst. Hole 7 you can just use the special shot.

@@orangexylem Hole 9 you just need to shorten the length of your first shot. That's not too bad by comparison to hitting weird shots on buildings and avoiding other buildings altogether.

This is not related to the video but I have to ask this. What does it mean "Score birdie or better on all holes using button controls"? I did this on Solo Challenge on one course but it doesn't get marked as completed. Do I have you complete all courses by only getting birdies or better?

In play stats, look at courses and all holes have to be completed at least once with a birdie or better. You don’t need to do solo challenge, but just choose play golf and you can change the rules to low wind and easier tees. If you only need one hole for example from blustery basin, you can choose the lowest amount of holes to complete in play golf, 3, and choose which hole to start at instead of doing all 18.
