FINALLY!!!! YES!!!! THIS IS ONE OF THE BIGGEST THINGS WE'VE WANTED FOR SO LONG FOR THIS GAME!!!! YES, YES, YES!!!! Almost nothing comes at this level or can top this. The only other thing I could think of is extra character slots for custom characters like Waluigi, Daisy and etc.... FUCK YEA!

I mean there is online mods for oot mm bk bt super mario 64 and lots of different coop mods out there i take your word that right now nothing can top this but this has been in tbe works for over ten years and i for one am glad its gotten this far

@@xmr_penguinx3561 I mean in terms of what has been done in "JUST" Mario Kart 64. And of course I know about the other stuff you mentioned, I'm involved and have made contributions in those communities lol. For the ten years? That's the point, there hasn't been this amount of sufficient progress in those ten years (more or less). The only thing you could find was a screenshot of somebody doing tests but there was never gameplay of progression like this.

@@MisterMultiplayer i like the name you have chosen for your channel would love to contribute videos to the cause i have so many ideas as once upon a time I thought of doing a multiplayer showcase of most if not all of the coop/multiplayer mods hacks and or glitches for as many games as possible

There was unfortunately quite a couple hurdles to get the sprites displaying properly, so this has been on the backburner for a while. We have a pretty good idea of what we'd need to do at this point, and it's a lot of work. It'll certainly get fixed someday!

I wonder why they decided to have no music play along with the voices for 3 of the 4 characters not being heard :( probably cause the n64 couldn't take it but is there a way to mod it so everything is normal?

The music adds a small amount of lag. Not usually noticeable, but probably why the developers took it out.

@@mecxu761 Everybody loves MK8. I never understand it because the Racing Tracks are too short and boring. So many of my favorite Drivers are gone. (Birdo, why, Just why...) Even MKWii was better although i didn't like the Items.

Well right now it his ouch my eyes, so if Nintendo put 3 old mario kart game into one game, then they could put 4 player grand prix into Mario kart 64 so that way while playing online with 4 player on the friend it would not be limited to just 4 human player, the same with 3 player. However if they do put it for N64 online instead it will start with the original and you would be force to player with just 3 or 4 player friend list with out the cpu, so if they return the special release then it could happen even in N64 online app, if their going to even put N64 online app on the nintendo switch.

Now add Drifting AI like the one in this video: kzbin.info/www/bejne/mIrMhohqZrOsf5o The non-cheating AI is so dumb at cornering curves that they can't properly handle them at higher speeds, but they can only be competent at tracks with lot of straights like Wario Stadium.
