Blue shell dodging was so fun, my favorite part was watching the shell go around the entire map once you dodged it, and if you time things well you could cross the finish line and finish the race before it got all the way back around meaning it would then go for the person in second and it was always a good meme if that cost them 2nd place.

Sucks cause this game is nearly as good, just lacking bikes, character roster and some controls. The tracks aren’t as good but it’s very good for a small handheld.

here's a tip: try jumping right before the shell hits you and you wont get thrown into the air as much, allowing you to gain back speed more easily!

Red Monster is not overrated. Its off-road is simply overpowered, enabling drifting on off-road and taking shroomless SCs.

Blue Shells are deleted by the game if they travel for too long, to make sure the Blue Shell isn't glitched or bugged. This happens in MK7 too.

I managed to get three stars on everything possible in MK7, but I just NEVER managed to get a Blue Shell dodge with a Mushroom! Luckily I found it to be much easier on MK8D, and I almost never fail it.

Yes people still playing this game. It very fun game. I play because I'm on my road to max VR, as well as max wins/losses. Even when NN shuts down, custom servers like Wiimmfi will be made so I can continue my road to max everything (except StreetPass tags, which I can only get to 1k).
