That’s what’s awful about this game. They took a lot of good retro tracks, they could of at least waited for some to come back to later games. They literally used everything at once, and that’s why it’s one of the worst Mario Kart games IMO.

@@mvbowserbrutus They're telling the truth. The cpu players always used the rubber banding technic, and I remember seeing several blue shells at once. I have played both this game and Mario Kart Wii. Some times you would get very lucky if you won.

In my opinion in this course there should be two gliding panels, one right before the river just like in Mario Kart 7 and one in the exit from the pipe. There are no Wii courses in Mario Kart Tour yet, but if there will be Wii Koopa Cape that's how I want it to be.

I prefer the Wii version because the the underwater section in Wii has a river you must stay in while avoiding electric fans whereas 7 used the underwater gimmick which took out the river and electric fans and used Cheep cheeps to swim at you

I think this course is okay in MK7. I don't like that the pipe is flooded because now there is no current to boost you, and the electric balls are taken out too, defeating the challenge. Edit: I'm willing to give the booster course remake a pass and say I enjoyed that version over this. Sure, that version still doesn't have the electric balls in the pipe, but at least they literally made it into a half pipe. I also think the visuals of the booster version are better than this or the Wii version.

Mariokart 7 map looks better, but the wii verison more fun. Also they shouldn't add the part where you drive under water in mariokart 7. They should add that in mariokart 8, so mariokart 7 and 8 won't be similar verisons.

I personally find the gliding section unnecessary. The whole gimmick is driving in the water so I don’t see why they want us to fly over it. I find it more satisfying to trick off of the ramp and get a boost. They took away the gimmick even further by removing the current from the pipe section. They also removed the whole challenge of it by taking out the zappers. Now, it’s just boring. I respect your opinion though.

Koopa Cape is one of my favourite tracks of all time, and I kinda sorta hate this version of it. I try to stay positive online and I've been defending MK8DX's DLC for ages, but... they really took almost everything I liked about the original and shoved it out the window, huh... I'm probably treating it way too harshly, it's still Koopa Cape and Koopa Cape is amazing, but this version does run me the wrong way.
