It may have disappeared. If you look on the map at that moment, 3 seconds after the blue shell disappears, the bomb then explodes.

Billy Kerr Yeah. Once in Mirror Mode, Daisy shot a Blue Shell and I backed up and let Toad get hit, but it still hit me! I actually rage quited, because I was in 2nd, and when the Blue Shell hit me, I went all the way to 8th before I could even drive again.

MLG_KZbin // Major Liam Gaming Pretty much you get two or three seconds to dodge any item that comes for you. If a blue shell or red is coming, run over a banana peel and you will save time. You can get hit by a banana peel and dodge the shocks effect, that doesn't help because you still get shrunken and lose your item(s). Getting hit by a banana peel is the exact same effect as the shock so yeah.

BonnieBunny 404 I have a few tips, in grand prix, the most important stat is acceleration, because the cpu's goal isn't to win the race, it is to make you lose, they will target you with items so be prepared. Stats are only one of the three s' to winning, they are stats, skill, and shortcuts. I can't help you with skill, that is for you to improve, but I do recommend that you learn all the shortcuts to the tracks, it can help you snag 1st place, or to increase your lead.

Its easier when the Blue shell shows up in your map, in games like Mario Kart Wii, when someone throws a Blue shell you're 100% fucked unless you got enough speed and mushrooms to outrun it or a Golden mushroom, but its hard to predict when one comes at you.

When a blue shell is coming towards you how can you tell when it’s the right time to drop out

Look on the minimap and if it's close to you then let 2nd place be 1st before it locks into you and then you can just go. Don't make the mistake of the Blue shell locking into you (Blue shell being on top of you) and then leaving because if u do that the blue shell will still hit you. Hope this was helpful :)
