Man people commenting how the prefetches for Waluigi Stadium and Los Angeles Laps are better than the final versions, meh, honestly the final versions are okay. Vancouver Velocity, while the final version is good, is the REAL downgrade from the prefetch. I really hope there's a full version of the prefetch out there that somebody can retrieve some day!

Vancouver in the music leak sounds different but the final version in 8DX the intro sounds similar to its original version and Bangkok in the music leak sounds very different and more calmer and not more energetic like in the final version in 8DX.

@@pants1800 but like... they removed everything iconic about the stage. Two of the Piranha Plants were moved to not even be obstacles, a ton of boosters were removed that slow the pacing, the dancing arrow signs are gone, the music is kinda low energy, and it doesn't even take place during dusk. It's still a fun track but like why does the Tour version fix literally all of these issues besides the arrow signs?

Both the Tour and leaked versions sound awful. I really don’t get this preference for the cheesy N64-sounding fake instruments. Not all the instruments in 8DX’s soundtrack are real, but they at least sound far more convincing.
