Unfortunately, when I am recording (using my computer monitor as a screen through the Elgato HD60 Pro Capture Card so there is no delay), there is a big recording watermark on the upper-left that somewhat makes the items harder to see. Since it was just a vs. race, I didn't pay attention to it too much.

Make sure to unlock your random kart part first. Then back out all the way to the main menu (where you select single player, multiplayer, online play, etc.)

Haha, guess so. I recall always going with Egg 1, Wood wheels, and Swooper glider in Mario Kart 7, but I completely missed out online in Mario Kart 8, so I have no clue what a good combo is for online at the moment.

For the Gold Standard, you need to beat every cup on Mirror Mode with at least a single star rank. For Gold Mario, you need a gold trophy for every cup on 200cc.

No, but I found a SUPER efficient way to get 10k Coins, I went from 8k - 10k in 1 day in MK8 for Glide. 200CC or 150CC Mushrooms only (if byself play against easy CPU) play 32 Races (don't have to finish all the races of course) I did it 90% myself and had my sister also help me by playing Multiplayer to get more coins
