This was the first mario kart i ever played, i didnt own any video games until i was like 10 but my parents used to take me to this kids haircut place called "cool cuts 4 kids" and it was literally my favorite place as a kid because they had video games you could play while getting your hair cut, i always looked forward to it because it meant i could play double dash lol.

I love this game so much, it really allows me to unwind. It's so simple but perfect. Also difficult and unlike newer versions you are always slightly sliding so very hard to control. The Japanese are so creative. Every Mario Kart seems to have a dreamlike quality to it.

You and me both, but even if that doesn't happen I'm glad Nintendo still acknowledge Double Dash at times not only with the tracks but with the double item boxes in 8 Deluxe and the giant Bowser shell in Tour.
