hi! i'm the author who made funky kong's hideaway, pianta parlor, and making some pasta. the background music in the funky kong track was dk jungle from donkey kong barrel blast, which the track is based on. the recipe in the background of making some pasta is how to make pasta. it's really easy, provided you have the patience for it. i'm really glad you liked my tracks - mkdd modding gets very little love.

The mario party one is actually a mode you can play. I dont remember all the details but you drive around and land on spots and play minigames. Honestly i totally forgot about it until i saw it--- thank you for unlocking an old memory!

@@lapitcs In the Kart Circuit, or simply titled Mini-Game Circuit, most of the spaces are blank, with some being to hit the dice block again, going forward or backwards, or duel/bowser/happening spaces...Other than that, if you land on the grey space, then it pretty much plays like party mode but with only mushrooms and that's it.

I think the "eyepatches" on the goombas are just sunglasses, what looks like the strings are just their big ol' eyebrows. For Wario's Goldmine, I think it's straight up just the Wii track. Both consoles have basically the same build. Also, what's with the random inclusion of Aqua, I did not expect that lol.

It's been 20 years man and it's finally come buddy. Many people have been waiting for decades to mod gamecube games like this. I've only been able to do it with gecko/AR codes, but now with mods, it'll make playing the game a whooole lot better. Personally I'm all for it, now we just need ones for F-Zero GX, Mario Golf Toadstool Tour, Mario Party 4 - 7, and Kirby Air Ride, and we'd be set (Animal Crossing, timesplitters, and 1080 Avalanche as well). 08:42 The song that you're mentioning Bathaniel is a very mediocre but very forgotten Donkey Kong Racing game that not many people played that I wanted back in 2007, and that's Donkey Kong Barrel Blast and it's other songs from that game as well. It came out in April 2007 with very mediocre reviews, much like what Kirby Air Ride received 20 years ago. 17:55 This one is the "MIni-Game Circuit" minigame mode from Mario Party 5. This one, Bonus Mode (Volleyball, Hockey, Card Party), Free Play, and "Mini-Game Wars" were my absolute favorites 20 years ago on Christmas Day 2003. So yeah, that track you're playing is referencing a mini-game mode from Mario Party 5. 23:30 "This is Nebula Road" Wait hold on man, That's not the actual title of the track in Kirby Air Ride. It's "Nebula Belt" not "Nebula Road" (Played too many recent games buddy, not enough time to play the retro games I see). Also, if you were playing this track on 300cc mode, you and the other CPUs would just speed right through the track. This one would be the PERFECT track to insert the traffic/car/vehicle mod where cars just pass left and right sides of this track and combine that with 300cc, and it'll just be freakin' wacky man. Because when I played this one on Kirby Air Ride, I always preferred the Formula Star vehicle and would just go 100+ miles per hour down on the straight track. This is definitely made for vehicles that are like formula one, dragsters, or any vehicle that can go 100+ miles per hour down this track. There's a reason I prefer the Kirby Air Ride visuals over the Mario Kart Double Dash visuals (Because look at this, it's ugly as freak and monotone/black and white; it's not appealing at all to drive down through. But, if he re-used the source code of the backgrounds and graphics from kirby air ride, and inserted it into this Mario Kart Double Dash game, then it would look much more beautiful that what it looks like here. This track mod Definitely needs some work on the aesthetics, backgrounds, and visuals of this track. Hopefully it'll get updated maybe a year or two later once the modder figures out how to get it to properly look like it came from Kirby Air Ride of all places.

Duuuude I didn't expect some of my CTs and track edits like Toad City, Chaotic Park, Chaotic Bowser Castle, and Nebula Belt to be in the showcase! Thanks a bunch man! This means a lot to me! And fun fact, ALL tracks with a million cars in Double Dash? Ha! I already made that happen! Just never released most of them. 🚗 And for Nebula Belt. It does look a little boring without chaos. Maybe I should add a giant Kirby on a Swerve Star flying around the track and a lot of traffic to it.

The reasons there's not enough Gamecube hacks: 1: Not many know how to mod an actual gamecube. Even an emulator is probably too confusing. 2: The challenges of modding. Textures, getting it right, making paths and custom sounds. While i can't speak for others, it's skills i lack.

Mkdd patcher for replacing tracks, stages, code, characters and items. Mkdd extender for only tracks (atm) keeps the vanilla 16 and adds 144 slots

It’s easy to play mods on DD there are two tools developed by the community. The mkdd patcher and mkdd extender. Both are rather intuitive and easy to use
