I can see Boo Lake being chosen for the Booster Course Pass instead of Broken Pier. Notice the two gaps at the top of the map? That can conveniently get reworked into a gliding section. As much as I'd prefer to see Broken Pier get used, Boo Lake has more chance of appearing in Wave 3 due to the layout. But this is just my personal assumption, so we have to wait and see which one will get chosen.

I can see your point but thing is broken pier can have a chance at underwater section towards end of track and the background looks way more cooler and interesting boo lake background looks good as well but my guy feeling tells me Nintendo would use the luigi mansion background instead

So the autumn challenge posted by the official MKT on Twitter. Judging by the ghost track pictured for this Halloween tour, all the candlelight spotlights and the ramp at the far right corner are shown, meaning this is the track we'll be getting for this Halloween tour and the third wave of the BPC. Too bad for those who wanted Broken Pier (me included), but I'm interested to see their take on this track once the tour will be release.

@@thadarkorange Looks pretty dope. I'm impressed how they managed to recreate the track to get a modern glow up. The underwater section is really clever as it does takes place at an actual lake unlike the original.

Luigi's Mansion wasn't even released yet (but neither was it's console), though it was a couple of months away from happening at that time. Makes me wonder if MKSC's developers already knew that Luigi's Mansion was coming, so maybe they decided to reference a Mario-related game that wasn't even released just yet... 🤔

@@thadarkorange Super Mario Advance was released on 21st March 2001, with a distinct Luigi voice, while Super Circuit was released on 21st July 2001. Plenty of time to record lines for Luigi, don't you think?

@@thadarkorange the reason is simple. Intelligent Systems got voice lines from the japanese version of MK64, where Luigi wasn't voiced by Charles. This Luigi VA was also present in Mario Party 1 and 2. Funny how they added Yoshi's samples and didn't change Luigi's, Toad's or even Wario's.

It's not 1:1 (like Snow Land, the shortcuts/alt routes seem to be gone) but the way they went about remaking it? It's practically on par with 8's retro overhauls

Well here it is now in Tour and the track layout is mostly the same though someone cut off the bottom right part of the track, flipped it sideways like a Tetris piece and placed it on the bottom left as an extra pathway.
