You should do a "Gun Game" of sorts with NMeade or Mayro or any guest! Where you both start with 100% chance of pulling a really powerful item (eg shock or bullet bill), and whoever wins race between the two moves onto the next item down (maybe star), then down again (mega/golden) until they get all the way down to Fake Item Box, and whoever wins first (between the two players) with the worst items wins the game! I think that'd be really fun to watch, but it could be messy in terms of modding the game like that (Yes im going to suggest this on every video until it either happens or we're told that it's not happening ♡)

It's kinda interesting to see some new faces performing so well in item rain, whereas some of the former knockout champions such as Matutino and Police are struggling to get their names on the leaderboards. And then there's Empex.

I thought the thumbnail said "Gas". Imagine if there were a mod for Mario Kart Wii where you have a gas tank and you have to drive through rings to slowly refill it. If it runs out you have to painfully slow down until you stop (the brakes won't work anymore) and once you stop for about 3 lakitu will reset you with half a tank. There could also be a "gas station" by the start that's deep off-road but refills your tank to full when you drive through it.

Countdown mode in CTGP is kinda like that. You start off with a set time limit and have to hit other players to increase your timer. Once the timer ends, you stop in place and the game ends when everyone else is done too. Whoever goes the furthest wins.

@@Some-guy-on-the-internet I've played countdown mode and it's alright, I feel like a lot of people just bag for good items at the begining and basically whoever gets triple reds gets a huge advantage. With The concept I'm presenting, there is a constant risk and reward struggle as to whether you should take weird lines to refill your gas tank or see if you can tough it out to the end of the lap for a full refill but risk getting hit by an item that will keep you from reaching the line. (The shock should be disabled in this mode)

I'd prefer a mod that allows custom music on every track in CTGP first, but my mind went rampant when I thought I saw "Gas" in the thumbnail. I think the hardest part of the mod would be the gas station, because you'd have to put a model containing deep off-road on every single track. Which even for vanilla tracks sounds like a chore.

@22:43 Has anyone else noticed that on Maka Wuhu that when you’re above the water but not quite in it just yet there is a blue-ish texture that appears around the placement indicator that kind of looks like a bubble? Does that appear on other tracks that has water in the same circumstances, or is that a glitch specific to this track?

I wonder if anybody has ever made a map where they made Peach's Castle into a shortcut but made the inside into the Super Mario 64 inside and then the only way that all the shortcuts would unlock is if you got gold on every single track on every single CC where you would have to get the 1st place mushroom trophy on 50CC in order to enter the castle in the first place

You probably would've had a much better time on a track like Rosalina's Ice World if you used Mario or Peach or Yoshi or Diddy on the Sneakster. It already has so much speed, you're basically handicapping yourself for no good reason on this game mode on those maps if you're using Daisy on an already too fast and difficult to control vehicle. It's really not a "skill issue", lol.
