I have to say, this was the hardest Mario kart for me to get the hang of, and my wii broke before I could learn it’s secrets. Luckily though, I have another chance after over 10 years to finally find out what was so hard about this game.

When you plays as a Mii on Luigi Circuit and Toad's Factory, elements with Luigi and Toad have there faces change to Miis.

interesting that lightning here does not cancel out the item roulette should the player be in the position to drive into it, in later games it would cancel it during a spin or when driving towards it, stopping the roulette player loses a turn to grab a box.

My opinions on these tracks: Luigi Circuit: Mediocre, I guess it's fine as a starding course (it's way better then Figure-8 Circuit), but it's so lackluster. Score: 4/10. Moo Moo Meadows: Eh, it gets points for having moving cows. Score: 5/10. Mushroom Gorge: Great, I love part where I jump on those fun mushroom. Also, talk about good music. Score: 8/10. Toad's Factory: Sorry, but I hate this track. I have trouble getting items and with the mud section. Score: 2/10. Wii Mushroom Cup score: 19/40

4 Luigi Circuit 2/10 super boring just made for beginners 3 Moo Moo Meadows 4/10 best track for beginners with cows crossing as and Monty moles obstacles. 8 did it better with the sunrise 2 Toad's Factory: 8/10 great track to end the mushroom cup. Interesting concept to have where item boxes are made 1 Mushroom Gorge: 8.5/10 Best track to introduce the trick system
