Blue shell only is basically brake check the game. If you are in first and you know you will be hit, try to get another person in the explosion too

@@nathanluna6522 It’s not glitched. The Crazy 8 is also Custom. It doesn’t automatically add the wheel of 8 different items. You set that yourself. The way it works is the Crazy 8 needs to be filled with something. If you just select the Crazy 8, it defaults to Mushrooms as the item. If you get a Crazy 8 in the game, it’ll be 8 Mushrooms in the circle. Or 8 Bananas. Or half Mushrooms, half Bananas in the circle, etc, depending on what is set. However, the game doesn’t allow every single player to have Crazy 8s all at the same time (likely for stability reasons). So occasionally you’ll get just a single item that is also selected. Like if it’s the default Crazy 8s with Mushrooms. A few people will get Crazy 8s while the rest just get Mushrooms. So truthfully, there’s no way to actually play with “Crazy 8s” only, it’s probably to help keep stability of the game.

7:37 but not the only way to avoid it. You can boost away from it if you time it right with a mushroom or even a coin. With a coin the window is small but it can be done. That's the only use that the coin has other than a waste of space

7:36 That's actually not true: a well-timed mushroom also stops the blue shell. If you hold onto it and boost right as the blue shell is coming down on you, the blue shell will miss you.

Is possible to outrun a Blue Shell in 200cc BUT you cannot slow down or overturn too much. Tracks like Tokyo Blur, Toad’s Turnpike, Moo Moo Meadows, Kalimari Desert, Paris Promenade are possible to fully outrun a Blue Shell without using mushrooms. From what i remember, a single Blue Shell lasts 30 seconds in the track but the recent one will take its place.
