Welche Wärme, welche Dynamikfähigkeiten, welche strahlende Höhe, wie er das Wort streichelt, die klaren Konsonanten, die Echtheit und Wahrhaftigkeit in seinem Künstlertum. Seine Ausstrahlung fesselt mich immer wieder aufs Neue! Er konnte ALLES singen, ob Opernarie, Operette, das Volkslied, den Schlager und das Lied. Und immer auf seine Art und Weise, die unvergleichlich war. Bei diesem italienischem Volkslied kamen mir mehrmals die Tränen der Rührung und der Begeisterung. Danke lieber Mario, Du wirst immer einen Platz in meinem Herzen haben!
