Despite the games many shortcomings in my eyes, they really nailed the combat. The card system is just the best. I think half my playtime of this game is from replaying bosses alone

by the way, as a fact: The "level down bowser and bowser jr card works on that boss. Doesnt make avoiding the attacks any easier but definitely less painful

@@javierascanio4309 I was debating using those but I opted against it for something risky but universal, the 50% increase damage for everyone battle card

@@FluppietheRockruffFan Besides it being a wasted spot until the last battle (imo), the... other reason why I didn't use that card is because it didn't feel right to me to lower the levels of Dry Bowser. I've had that mentality since 2016 when I first started watching other people battle the boss with that card, and I vowed not to use it in the eventual time I'll achieve S rank. It's a weird thing, but old habits and mentalities die hard, I suppose.

The king boo fireball attack is usually in a pattern Down, Up, Down, Up and then the fifth one is completely random then they come back in reverse order just thought I’d let ya know

I could never do this legit, sadly. I just resorted to grinding Beans using the Farmer Boots until my Speed stat for all bros were higher than Dry Bowser's. I _can_ beat him normally; just not fast enough (or good enough at avoiding damage) to secure the S-Rank.

I must ask, why jumpman on both marios? Its not a BAD pick, but it doesnt affect tandem moves based on jump damage, only the solo jumps. A third gear slot might have been more helpful

Me van a atacar por decirlo pero la verdad este juego me parece mas disfrutable que brothership, lo se, las misiones de toads son aburridas pero puedes adelantar dialogos inecesarios, no tiene muchos tutoriales, desde el inicio ya tienes ataques especiales y no te alargan inecesariamente el tiempo de la historia con dialogos aburridos

What is the criteria to get an S rank? Is it to win this boss rush without taking less damage or to win every battle the least amount of turns?

@@YTSirBlack From my observations throughout the years, it heavily favors the amount of times you’ve been damaged. Getting hit by an unblockable multi-attack with all 3 brothers is a death sentence. Fainting once also kills the run.
