There is a 1up and a pipe you can go down in 4-1. (Hint for the 1up: You make an incorrect statement in the video.) Level 4-4 is a maze. It just repeats endlessly if you choose the wrong path. You lucked into the correct path on the first attempt.

Upon closer inspection, i can see that your graphic for the arcade cabinet is for Mario Bros, not Super Mario 1 ;p

I was basing it off of the cabinets for the two player Mario Bros (the Nintendo VS one), so I thought it was an arcade game that came around later on! But shhh nobody was supposed to see

@@CaedsArcade mario bros was the first game. Super mario came after.

@@matttyree1002 I knew that part luckily! But I had seen cabinets that looked more like super mario instead of the regular mario bros, like the red cabinet I tried basing it off of has a ‘VS Super Mario Bros’ sticker, like that Red Tent thing

After your done playing this you should play the actuall arcade version of Super mario bros. called Vs. Super mario bros. If you have a Nintendo switch you can buy it, in arcade achieve, you do not need the Nintendo online payed services for the online feature since it was release before that, Vs. Super mario bros. replace the repeating level with level that look like lost levels, but they where in Vs. Super mario bros. first. After you buy the game you have 3 option the left side is high score mode that need online connection and you can't change the setting while playing it. You try to get a high score with just one credit and no pause. The option on the right is caravan mode that one also need online connection you cannot pause you have 5 minutes to make a high score and timer tick down even in loading screen. The middle one is the original Vs. Super mario bros. this one online connection not required, this one you can change the setting before playing, if you change the button setting already high score mode and Caravan mode will keep does setting, it is the game setting that you can't change for high score mode and caravan mode. The game setting change behave like your the one owning the aracade cabinet and can change the setting like a dip switch, it also got a suppend point. There his already a big flaw with the high score system even the online high score system since they don't seperate the score base on the mode you play. And in the original Vs. Super mario bros. you made a high score with the 1-up at the 100 coins you change it to a 1-up for 150 coins, your offline score it still kept for the 1-up at the 100 coins mode. The score you see on the Demo is just the Demo high score you can't see your High score untill you get a game over and/or finish the game. The invisible 1-up block are different in Vs. Super mario bros. you can only get them in odd number world. and you get it only with take all the coins in 1-3 this one you can miss one, but if you miss 2 or start at the check point then you have to take all the coins in 2-3 for it to appear in 3-1, it is on the bridge with the 3 goombas. unlike the NES, Vs. Super mario bros. will not give you the invisible 1-up mushroom if you used warp zone or continued from game over, this is why you can start a continued with more life then what you start with for that reason. There is an exception warpzone to world 5 because it is possible to collect all the coins in 3-3 before takeing the world 5 warp zone. This is why warpin to world 5 can still have the 1-up mushroom. In Vs. Super mario bros. You have to be carefull with the score in Vs. Super mario bros. finishing the game with a lot of 1-up rememaining it gives 100,000 for each life remaining. and if you have more then 9,999,950 it goes back to a score of 0 and count as a low score and not a high score. In the high score a lot of people got 9,999,950 and I'm really sure they used the in game save to infinitly bounce on a koopa on a stair case.

@@SuperNickid Whoa that’s so cool to see Vs SMB was such a big thing, and is still available via Switch! When I was making the overlay/learning about older Mario cabinets I couldn’t find most of this info so I had no idea it had been such a big separate thing. I’ll have to hop on my Switch and look it up to give it a shot! Appreciate the in depth info especially being sorta new (but sorta not) to parts of this lol Judging from your comment and channel, it seems you have a large knowledge and experience with the Mario platformers!

I was wrong about the online high score not being seperated for all 3 mode, so all 3 mode got a separated high score for online each, it is the offline high score that is not seperated from all 3 mode.
