This reminded me of how much I loved playing this as a kid. It's very different from the typical mario party and the only one I played that had something as unique as this in it.

Sometimes I think Emile seems like a bad sport. Like he gets SO excited when he is assured victory (as Jon mentions his shit-eatting grin throughout the game). And when he loses he sounds more curt and quiet. Like it's just a game. No wonder Jon gets frustrated. Just my 2 cents watching these...

From now on whenever I'm having bad luck in a Mario Party game I'll remember just how badly Mario Party 3 treated Jon and I will be thankful that (hopefully) things can't get much worse than that. Who knows maybe Jon will have better luck in Mario Party 4.

DOMINIQUE PARSONS Be nice to Jon, for a change. EMILE IS NOT A GOD! Jon works twice as hard as Emile, and I think he deserves more. Tim's already the group favorite, but why does everyone treat Chugga like he's a fucking superhero? Emile's redeeming qualities are his abilities to pull puns out of the air, and has the best luck of anyone I've ever seen. Jon, he's still Let's Playing Superman 64. I needn't say this, but he's been through a WHOLE lot more than Emile.

Chugga said that they weren't even halfway done with Mario Party 3. That may be true in terms of board count, but since these duels are apparently far shorter, they were way more than halfway through Mario Party 3.

Baby bowser can actually be the strongest partner in the game. if you manage to get the double partner bonus and power up he can do 12 damage and one-hit pretty much anyone

They just didn't want the games to go on forever so the turn limit is kind of nice. Although, It makes you kind of wish there was a 25 or more turn count instead of 15 or infinite turns. Either way it was a pretty good match, and it showed exactly how menacing the RNG in this game is.
