I have no idea why Maurits as Mario went for the Bowser Space at 1:30:12. Everyone lost all of their coins because of it, as opposed to only Mario losing 3 coins.

Here's something that I wish for something different: I wish that the orbs are like the capsules from Mario Party 5! The orbs would create the character spaces when tossed onto a space, but when used on yourself, you would have to pay the varying fee. There would be coins in the orbs, which means that there would be a small net profit or a net loss of coins Ex 1: Mushroom orb (used on yourself)-> Fee: 5 coins; number of coins in the orb: 9 coins; net profit or loss: +4 coins Ex 2: Flutter orb (used on yourself)-> Fee: 30 coins; number of coins in the orb: 4 coins; net profit or loss: -26 coins Ex 3: Spiny orb (tossed onto a space)-> No fee for simple reasons; number of coins in the orb: 3 coins; net profit (no loss): +3 coins Ex 4: Bullet bill orb (tossed onto a space)-> No fee for simple reasons; number of coins in the orb: 5 coins; net profit (no loss): +5 coins Ex 5: Piranha plant orb (used on yourself for some reason, ouch!)-> Fee: 15 coins; number of coins in the orb: 7 coins; net profit or loss: -8 coins

I'm more annoyed by the fact that the traps placed with orbs don't disappear after activation, like the hex traps from Mario Party DS do.

Yeah... Even I, who is a die-hard Yoshi fan (and thus a huge fan of Rik for always choosing Yoshi to play as in Mario Party games), felt sorry for Toad (played by Mytre) in this game! I actually didn't even mind Toad in stealing 3 Stars (via riding a Chain-Chomp) from the other 3 players in a single turn towards the end of the game, as he had so few Stars in compared to everyone else who was playing in the game [Yoshi (played by Rik) was going to win the game in the end, anyway; so at least Toad got a few more Stars before the end of the game to make it a bit fairer there].

It is quite rare on this KZbin Channel for Rik to win a game of Mario Party [I've only counted maybe 3 or 4 games in which he has won on this KZbin Channel (at least as far as the Nintendo GameCube Mario Party video games go, there): one for this Mario Party video game (I've only watched half of the regular virtual game boards for this Mario Party video game on this KZbin Channel in the multiplayer Party game mode, so...), 2 or 3 in the _Mario Party 5_ video game, and *_maybe_* one in either _Mario Party 4_ or _Mario Party 7_ (I can't remember which one)].

But in Mario Party 8, Bowser's Warped Orbit is Bowser's board. The way to get stars is to use candy to steal stars from each opponent you pass; the Bullet Candy and Bowser Candy. And these 2 candies (Bullet Candy and Bowser Candy), they are hidden only on this board. So, rather than Chain Chomps (from Snowflake Lake in Mario Party 6 and Pyramid Park in Mario Party 7), you use candy; which is the Bullet Candy and Bowser Candy. But this is the only board to have Bullet Candies and Bowser Candies hidden on. The Bullet Candy lets you roll 3 Dice Blocks and you steal 1 star. The Bowser Candy lets you roll 2 Dice Blocks and you steal 2 stars. You can get 3 stars with the Bullet Candy if you catch all 3 opponents; but only for Battle Royale. With the Bowser Candy, if you catch all 3 opponents, you can get 6 stars. In Bowser's Warped Orbit, each player starts with 5 stars (or 10 on Tag Battle). Other than the DK Space, more stars can be added if you use handicaps. But you steal stars rather than get them. That is why you start with a specific number of stars; 5 for Battle Royale; 10 for Tag Battle. Although there are no stars, it is possible to get a free star from Donkey Kong. More stars can be added by DK if you land on a DK Space. In the case of a DK Space, more stars can be added or in the case of a Bowser Space, stars can be taken away.

I feel like Mario party 6 is a downgrade because the textures aren’t as good as Mario party 5’s textures are. In fact, the spaces in mp5 look good and they are actual circles while mp6’s spaces has been downgraded to be hexagonal and looks like that Nintendo lowered the quality

*@silver sheep* Well, I believe here that the non-character spaces in being octagonal (they are octagon-shaped and *_not_* hexagon-shaped there, but I understand your point) was a stylistic choice by Nintendo and Hudson Soft back when the video game developers and publishers made _Mario Party 6._ Now, when it comes to Yoshi's 3D character model in the Nintendo GameCube Mario Party video games *_as a whole,_* it's quite a mixed bag of quality: Some minigames, virtual game boards and game modes have him in high polygon (i.e. quite rounded, with the polygon/triangle boundaries in being barely noticeable there - at least for Nintendo GameCube standards); and some minigames, virtual game boards and game modes have him in low or lower polygon (i.e. quite blocky, with the polygon/triangle boundaries in being quite noticeable there - even for Nintendo GameCube standards) - this occurs *_throughout_*_ Mario Party 4_ all the way to and throughout _Mario Party 7;_ it is inconsistent there.
