Fun fact about Toadsworth in Mario Super Sluggers: his pitches are the slowest in the game, but that isn't because his pitching stat is bad; it's actually one of the best. The slowness of the pitches allow you to do stupid stuff with the ball before it flies over the plate, which can make things tough for your opponent.

Oh boy, here we go again! ^^ Now, 6 is my personal favourite in the series, but this game, I'd say, comes in second place. Most likely because it borrows a lot of mechanics from its predecessor, notably the orb-system, which I really love from a strategic point of view. It also has a grear selection of minigames and a solid roster of boards. Of course, I'm just as excited as for every Mario Party-playthrough on this channel. :D 02:14 Yup, I also think that Toadsworth is the most fitting host in the series and should just continue to have that role (instead of Toad and Toadette, who aren't playable in Super Mario Party due to them being hosts). He's last been seen in the M&L: Superstar Saga-Remake on 3D and before that in M&L: Dream Team Bros. and that game's predecessor, Bowser's Inside Story, so he hasn't been getting appearances for quite a while now. He actually wasn't in Colour Splash, but there was a Toad at the beginning of the game that was with Peach, who could've easily been replaced by him, but that game is just a bunch of wasted potential anyway, if you ask me. ...And then Jon looks it up, damn it.

In Mario Party 7, these are the character teams who are default partners: Mario and Luigi Peach and Daisy Wario and Waluigi Toad and Toadette Yoshi and Birdo Boo and Dry Bones Birdo and Dry Bones are the unlockable characters in this game. Before BIRDO and DRY BONES are unlocked, YOSHI and BOO are considered default partners. But they share different orbs. Altogether, there are twelve playable characters. 1:23 this is my childhood Mario party game, played it every winter and summer vacation. I love it so much (besides pagoda peak because everyone picks that stage, my friends who are first timers, my sisters, my older cousin in Missouri, my sister’s friends who have a sleepover), I even love a majority of the mini games (including FUNDERWALL *intense sirens) I finally completed it this summer, got the two remaining treasures on king of the river. Mario Party 7 was my first Mario Party game that I absolutely loved playing. I played it at a friend's house and then after I bought it afterwards when I was able to get my hands on it 😍 I re-watch this game play just to relive my childhood

The only Muppet on this Party Cruise is Waluigi. No frogs allowed. That includes you too, Mallow. 0:15 Emile’s countdown is going to get so convoluted by the time we get to MP10. I love how this all starts up because Bowser didn’t get an invite. Kinda like Bowser’s Inside Story actually. 1:18 The best plot. Nothing overly contrived; it’s just Bowser’s pissed. I’m on the side of the fence that generally likes it. I’m not big on some of the board gimmicks and minigames, and there’s only a handful of music tracks and minigames I like compared to MP6, but the character orbs definitely add some spice to this particular mix. That would’ve been a lot of time to put in for “last week”. Also hooray for recording dates! Now for everyone to forget this was recorded in November of last year. 2:09 Toadsworth is mainly reserved for the M&L RPGs, but he was at least playable in the baseball games. His most recent appearance is would be the remake of Superstar Saga. 3:40 Speaking of rotten... Speaking of luck... 4:12 And more relevant. I know they’ll never die, but at least there’s going to be some reprieve in an MP LP from Daisy jokes. 6:00 I like how even Toadsworth acknowledges that they dun goofed in not inviting Bowser. 7:48 Somehow I doubt Hudson was paid to go to each of the locations these boards were based on unlike Sonic Team for SA2 and 06. 9:15 I remember Bowser doing a few other things like replacing the wooden bridges with bridges made in his style with nothing but bad spaces on them or taking a group photo of the players and charging an exorbitant amount of coins for the shoot. 11:00 I do like how the platform raises based on each character’s height. Been nice seeing that again in Super Mario Party with Goomba. 13:04 I love how passive-aggressive Mario side characters can be in these games. 15:15 The shopping one’s another one that’s kind of rigged. Just as the minigame star favors those that are the most skilled, so too does the Shopping Star because that gives you more spending power, especially in MP8 where those in last place actually get bargain prices meaning they can’t spend nearly as much as they normally could. The other two are at least somewhat luck based, much like the Action Star and kinda the Coin star. 16:36 Unfortunately for Tim, this is not a Castlevania title. Victory was not a guarantee for him. 17:57 Gods dammit Bubsy... 20:45 Now, does their AI instruct them to hold onto those Eggs at all costs, or will the AI drop them if they’re full on orbs and pick up a new one? 21:55 That’s the “problem” with most platforming marathon minigames. The one in MP6 with the lifts was exactly that only on a 2D plane.

Skeeter Mania I know that all too well...not that I mind in the slightest. It’s one of the minigames I like in this batch. Same thing with MP6’s Lift Leapers and one Duel minigame in MP8 that I forget the name of (you’re climbing blocks up a tower and you can tilt the Wii Mote to change perspective). Perfecting your timing and route down to the T is like an art, and man does it feel satisfying to pull off successfully.
