The game just thinks you've used reverse psychology When you were trying to win, it never allowed you to do so Now that you're trying to lose, it makes you win

I did the exact same thing with Hard COMs and got 3rd. However, even if they were on easy, it would’ve still been the same.

HOLY SHIT MARIO PARTY CONTENT W Idk if this matters but I beat one CPU in normal mode with a 50 star disadvantage and got like 125 mini stars. It was in the Bob-omb map.
