The Magma Mine in Mario Party 9 is situated inside a volcano! Make your way up to the top while dodging the rising lava! This board game was incredible lucky for me (Mario). I really enjoyed it. ^_^
The name magma used in this game is actually wrong. The correct name is 'lava'. You call lava magma until it leaves the ground, which already happened when the lava reaches you.

That's the most annoying gimmick in Magma Mine aside from the CPUs saying yes to Bowser offering them presents. Every time a CPU says yes to Bowser offering them presents, I want to throw my remote at the screen and yell, "YOU MADE THE GAME WORSE FOR US!"

Of course.Probably. Mario's ALWAYS is the winner for most games. But I'm cheering for Yoshi and Mario. That final boss fight...it took four tries before somebody actually got a bomb? It was funny though! EDIT: I can just imagine King Bob-omb those first four rounds and every single time every player failed to get a bomb thinking, "Seriously? These guys can't even pick different bombs to destroy me? This doesn't even feel like a boss battle..." EDIT #2: That reverse minigame, Chain Event, I was laughing so hard every time the characters hit a spike ball. Every time they shouted "Ow!" I kept laughing. Their butts must really hurt after that game, especially those who lost half their Mini Stars when the magma got to them (the fireballs got their butts)...
