Excellent how you tied it all together at the end with gameplay angle - it was a super strong cincher.

Another good analysis from your channel. Although it's kind expected now, but you really make people understand the genius within those details. Also, that's quiet a new game you touched. Do you plan to do more of them since you can now capture footage from Switch?
@pyrrhickong7 жыл бұрын
Depends on the title. I'm the one with the capture card, and I have a PS4 and Switch that function right now whilst desperately needing to repair my PS3 and Wii U. It's more that "these are options now" and we do have at least one more current gen game planned to mention down the pipeline. Always appreciate the feedback = )

DK doesnt appear in the first donkey kong, he wasnt a character until DKC Arcade DK is cranky kong
@DesigningFor4 жыл бұрын
This is a bit of a difference in definition of "character". For me, it's separate from "individual". I know that arcade DK would eventually grow up to be Cranky Kong in the backstory, but they are still separate. It's a bit of an obtuse idea, but treat characters as if they are concepts. So, to me, Batman and Bruce Wayne are two separate characters within one individual, since they represent different, albeit related ideas. A character doesn't even have to be alive, necessarily--a setting such as Silent Hill can be a character in how it shapes the game's themes. Similarly, both arcade DK and modern DK are used for the same reasons, which is why they share the same name, the same role in Mario vs. Donkey Kong, the same target market, the same barrel throwing, and so on. Literary criticism in my experience favors this definition of "character" rather than the more colloquial "individuals with a personality in a work." Great observation, though!
