My grandma once played my Wii when i brought it over. For some reason, she calls it "willie". I've corrected her millions of times, but she doesnt remember. Went to Woodstock and didn't fully come back, i suppose. Lol I love her. Anyway, i drive her to the store when she needs groceries, and one time we were checking out, she saw the kid behind us and his mom put mario oddysey on the belt. She got excited and told them how when i was little, i used to play all of the "pacman tapes" when i visited. The kid looked at me and snickered, knowing it was pointless to explsin. Then to my horror, my grandma told them how much fun she had when i came over and let her play with my willie. She said she had never played one before, so she was tired after playing my Willie for a couple of hours. The lady looked horrified, the cashier who knows my gma tried her hardest not to laugh, and me with my social anxiety disorder had to remove myself from the situation to not only avoid people, but laugh like a madman outside in my car. She meant it in the most innocent way, and only realized what she said exactly after i told her. She was so embarrassed, but laughed pretty hard. The cashier, who eventually became my girlfriend for a couple of years, used to tease me about how my grandma bragged about playing my Willie until she needed a nap. Lmao
