The fact that Mr. Puzzles deform Mario at the beginning, then Luigi and Meggy later implies one thing: either they are stuck in a type of simulation like One-Shot Wren's (which was also provided by Mr. Puzzles), or worse, they have been physically *and* mentally manipulated in real life. I think the first theory makes more sense because at the 4:03 mark, SMG3, Tari and Meggy can be seen screaming at the Puzzlevision TV. There are two possible scenarios: + They have not been manipulated yet, and are being kept somewhere else, waiting to be deformed (Meggy was shown later as a landmine); + They have been manipulated, but somehow managed to escape and tried to communicate with SMG4 and Mario before Mr. Puzzles severed it. Like the simulation case, Tari is the only person in the crew that has the ability to break the fourth wall, so I guess that checks out. The reason why I believed that the SMG4 crew have been manipulated for good is because like the previous arc ("SMG4: IT'S GOTTA BE PERFECT"), the keyboard that Mr. Puzzles gave to SMG4 was able to physically take over the Peach's Castle, turning it into its own nest and also take over SMG4 himself. I do not know though, it could be an entirely new method of control that Mr. Puzzles has been waiting to test, and his test subject is way too obvious at this point.

Most people dont realize the 'horror' of this episode, Mr. Puzzles (Or PuzzleVision, The Adware, the TV Guy) has won. I don't think they're in a simulation like One-Shot Wren's, maybe they have been brainwashed, this could be something completely different. But not even the video we're watching is safe, it doesn't says 'SMG4:' infront of the title anymore, it doesnt have the normal intro, the smg4 logo on the thumbnail has been replaced by the PuzzleVision/Adware Logo, and the SMG4 logo is completely missing from the video itself. Also something I just connected while writing this, is that Mr. Puzzles asked us to rate this episode, which he/it Also asked SMG4 near the end of 'SMG4: It's gotta Be Perfect.' I wonder if that means anything or if it's just a coincidence. I think they've been brainwashed, as they don't question or mention what they saw on the TV even though it was right infront of their faces, how they know Mr. Puzzles despite never meeting him before, and the fact that their currently in some other persons house and not the showgrounds. But this is just a theory. Edit2: isn't Hal Monitor's text also black and white? Edit 3: on Smg4's community post about the 'flop' of "Mario's Mysteries" and ''Once Upon An SMG4'' there's a Bar code. 3:48 Hmm... I think I've just found two clues in one scene. But these were tricky to notice at first. That TV guy we saw at the end of WOTFI 2023 is named 'Mr. Puzzles', hence his shows appearing on 'PuzzleVision TV.' And the theme we heard in WOTFI 2023 apparently has lyrics now, but the way that certain lyrics are sung seems a bit off. For example, when he says 'Take a break from your troubles' he sounds more like he's demanding rather than asking. When Mr. Puzzles says 'That was a TV show for grown-ups.', I think he intentionally mistook it for a horror film and cut it to a different channel, since horror films are not okay for children or any people who are easily disturbed.

Here's a few things I've noticed that I haven't seen anyone else point out: 1. 3:25 is the only time we see the audience speak with subtitles to accompany them and it's just one voice. Plus, it isn't this way with the other clue-finding moments. Why make this moment different from all other audience moments? 2. 3:40 The immediate shift of SMG4 and Mario's attention to "Mr. Puzzles". 3. "Mr. Puzzles" treats them like young children, stating that the scene at 4:01 is "a TV show for grown-ups" and showing them "the entire Bee Movie with bonus features!" The language he uses towards them is very much the kind someone would use towards children and, whenever around "Mr. Puzzles", SMG4 and Mario act as such. Their behavior only gets so oddly child-like whenever he's around. 4. The exchange at 4:28 is odd to me. SMG4 states something that is quite unlike himself and then "Mr. Puzzles" responds, saying: "You sure did!" IDK, this just sets off red flags for me. 5. 5:49 How could Mario mistake the smell of blood for the smell of spaghetti? This might just be a red herring or something that was just meant to strange in thought, but still. It's kind of chilling to think about, especially in context. IDK, These are just some things I noticed. I REALLY loved this episode, especially (probably unnecessarily) deconstructing it and looking at it frame by frame. I can't WAIT for the rest of this series or whatever it's considered! (Note: The reason I'm referring to "Mr. Puzzles" with quotation marks is because I don't personally believe that's his real name and I am skeptical to ANYTHING that comes out of that "man"'s mouth. I personally think this might just be the name he's going by in that show since it sounds like a name a character from a show like that would have. IDK, I may be proved wrong in the future, but still.)

Mr Puzzle's ability to influence the behavior of his captured victims casts a lot of doubt over how much control One-Shot Wren had over his own actions in Western Spaghetti. Even Meggy refused to believe it with good reason. I now suspect that how Wren talked about a "Splatfest that *never ends* " may be Puzzlevision's influence. We were even meant to be clued into this from the forced line "So good you can eat it raw!" Puzzlevision killed Wren and framed him for his own murder, and even his one last remaining fan believed it.

Ok from what I'm seeing, characters can't leave the front screen we can see this from where Mario was getting push along the screen when Smg4 was going to the kitchen and when Mario tried to escape when Smg4 was sing the "Let's kill Mario song", I can only think that Mr. Puzzle doesn't want his characters to leave the main screen or at least his main characters, the only question is why? This episode has definitely started off with excitement for the arc! I loved how much effort of a parody that was put into, especially Mario being who he is himself! I know that music isn't easy to secure the rights to use for parody, but SMG4 sure knows how to make it work! I wonder what is Mr. Puzzle's motive for regarding the future of SMG4 channel...I can't wait to see what the resolution would be like in the end after all of those parody TV shows! EDIT: Yes, I've also rated the episode! It was definetly 4/5 stars from me! Honestly, there's could've been more jokes in the video, but at I'm happy about the parody.

》For the record. A lot of people aren't pointing out the things that may be questionable or necessary to know about this newest episode: 1. This episode is awfully similar to the Blue's Clues & Dora the Explorer ( with a side of Amanda the Adventurer ), but more of a mixed up. The structure of the place they're in is mostly Blue's Clues. While this isn't really connected yet. But, I'll make a wild guess. The way that SMG4 and Mario aren't conscious about their surroundings is strangely enough, like Dora the Explorer; blindness. While, well, you guessed it, the eerie atmosphere coming from the episode. The way it had a lot of glitches, intentional mistakes, and almost breaking the 4th wall is enough. The fact that the world around had faces like in the game Amanda the Adventurer. And the way it feels like that SMG4 is Amanda while Mario is Wooly because of how unhinged SMG4 was in the episode, while Mario is targeted. 2. 3:08, this might be a hint. But I doubt it is. But it seems so off, and it's quite unnecessary to get the color red when there are a lot of other things that you can get from red. 3. 4:01, it seemed that the others were stuck in the TV or some sort of void that they couldn't get out. Not knowing what they'll do. So, it was like a trap that Mr. Puzzles did to make entertainment out of them. 4. 4:51 or 4:52, that look is already suspicious. Like he knows what he'll do next. Planning for the next episode, which we don't know yet. 5. Since this is the 1st episode out of the 5. In this episode, the title is: Mario's Mysteries.
