Gosh I remember watching this series back in 2012/13? It was so much fun and the sense of adventure was so great! The effort of the production was always so wholesome and it's glad to see this video in 2020 (this channel came into my mind today so I thought I'd revisit it). This episode was always my favourite - the train scenario was really interesting 👍

That was a thoughtful comment, thank you! When it comes to making references to the Mario games, I tend to make it small references rather than a whole story based around a game. That way things are fresh but you still feel the "nostalgia factor" for the references to games you may have played in the past. And making all those sets and plushes takes almost as long as filming itself, so it's good to know it paid off! :)
