I think the movie is amazing as far as being faithful to the games, and the cinematics. But there's just not enough character devlopement, relationship devlopement and story. I like mario but this movie is about as bland as a New Super Mario bros game. That being said. The good out weighs the bad. But there's still more to be desired. Kids and fans will still love it

Honestly, as much as I liked this scene and how hearthwarming I think it is, I'd remove it from the final cut. It feels kinda out of place. I think Luigi's concerned look could have been more than enough, and the time used in that scene could have easily extended the fireflower field scene instead.

​@@conniefunny2012 Kids don't have as much attention span as adults due and both Illumination and Nintendo wanted the movie to appeal mainly to children which is why they cut down the movie's running time.
