I think it's actually a long-running joke, but it's very difficult to tell so I'm still low-key worried about him. For example, I've never heard of a 72 hour surgery. That is literally 3 straight days. That's logistically impossible; for him to be in surgery for three days, the surgeons would ALSO have to stand there for three days. However, it does appear that he really was misdiagnosed with stomach cancer, and it's also true that he seems to burp unusually frequently, and he's also quite slim. It's very possible that he has some kind of gastro-intestinal disease that prevents him from digesting normally.

Yeah it's a joke, the first video he did that quick one second "update" about him burping I thought he was being serious but just trying to downplay it. However now I know for sure he's continuing the cancer joke from last year. As Aia said it's practically impossible to be in surgery for 72 hours. A quick Google search shows that yes the longest surgery was over four days, back in 1951 and then again in 2001. However there really isn't a stomach problem that would prompt surgery that requires such extensive work to be done. Plus if you've seen iDubbbz shirtless he doesn't have any scars. So yeah I genuinely believe he is fine, I do think he was actually misdiagnosed with stomach cancer, thus he does have some existing intestinal problems for him to have gone to the doctor for testing. But I highly doubt he has anything super serious wrong with him. Just go along with the joke until he has to make a genuinely serious announcement about his health like the rest of us hahaha.
