I distinctly remember being amazed at how most of that could even be done on the VFX side. It's still amazingly well done, but I do these kinds of visual effects all the time now. Especially after working on Red vs Blue for a season. Well done. this was a blast from the past. :)

GrayForce here. This came to mind today while I was listening to the song "Entering the Stronghold" after going through my old Zune. This is still a really impressive video and I love watching it. It's nice thinking back on the filming sessions. Being a body actor / puppet might not be the most impressive role, but I loved helping skilled creators make their visions come to life. I miss doing it sometimes. The Halo machinima community was really great while it lasted.

@@kroaat oh gosh no, we dropped out of contact years ago. After Reach came out, most of us in halo machinima were busy with work or college, so we all just kind of started to prioritize life. We still made time to play or make amateur films, but the glory days of Halo machinima were with halo 2 and 3. I can't speak for everyone of course, but the people I knew the most just kind of faded away as life took priority.
