Naruto Clash of Ninja 2: Ultimate Combos

This video was made to test the amount of hits allowed by the games engine. These will NOT work on opponents in a real match unless the opponent has the chakra seal handicap.

Hi everyone, once again i'm back with another Naruto Clash of Ninja 2 Video. This time, i used all of the combo's that I have found myself, with some being ones i have seen before. Yes, i know the two sasuke and Guy combos lag, but i couldn't help it. Its the dazzle. Also, i apologize for the Chakra recovery still on, that Haku combo works though, even without chakra recovery. This video took me many tries to get the combo's right and Iruka has a 33 hit combo in the first clash of Ninja that i might upload. But, i'm going to take a break from this clash of ninja video spree for a little bit so i can work on my alternate account that i share with my friend Jerisfairhair, Enjoy these combos i have put together for you viewing pleasure.

I know that pain dude. :( So much time going through story mode, Single player mode, buying the extra stories, playing Obito/Kumite mode just to make enough to buy EVERYTHING from the shop, just to get S. Sasuke. It took forever, but it was worth it. I even fell for all the fake cheats when I was younger, like getting gold from a code on the title screen, getting characters that way, etc.

However, due to poor sales of Shippuden CONR3, it's sad to say we probably won't ever see an English release. I was going to import it, until I saw the price. Maybe one day, along with GNT4, I'll import them both.

No, one of the worst. Absolutely lacks a projectile, and can't deal decent damage without being in Eight Gates. The Gate of Life is a double edge sword. You attack power quadruples, you do get unlimited recovering chakra but Lee gains no special moves or combos. If you use it, you must immediately defeat your opponent. In later games, specifically the Japanese EX 3 and Special, Lee receives a buff where he can teleport mid-combo, disrupting an opponent's defense. With the right timing, you can combo into jutsu thanks to the teleport.

The gamecube processes more power than the ps2 to begin with. Just look at marvel nemesis or some of the Need for speeds. The Ultimate Ninja games were fantastic. The first one was really good for how cheesy it looked. Ultimate Ninja 2 was better in every way. 3 removed some things but also added some and pretty much the first open world Naruto game.. sort of. 4 was good. 5 is expensive and good. I can't play my GNT3 or UN5 because I need a Japanese Gamecube and a European PS2

Man I have not seen or heard the sounds of this game (cept for the music) in over a decade~ I still remember every sound and every line. To me this was PEAK Naruto gaming. To this day I enjoy the Clash of Ninja Series so much more. I played Clash of Ninja 2 like mad against the difficulty 4 CPUs (which was hard as heck). Clash of Ninja 2 and the one one Wii with the extra characters like Towa and Bondo was the best. Would just play with friends and they would always end up jumping me because I was doing to much with Ten-Ten or Temari. Man I need to play again...I still have the games but I don't know if they are in working condition.

This game should have been Clash of Ninja Revolution 2 for Wii... I am noticing something... I can't believe this game is actually better than the first two Wii Revolution games... the stages are cool looking, there are even versions that are missing on wii, such as Ichiraku during afternoon and Hidden Leaf stage during rain! Not to mention characters like Zabusa, Haku, Iruka and Mizuki which are gone from wii... and btw, Ino's special attack is way better here since she calls Choji like in the anime, while on Wii she just throws a silly paper bomb at the opponent.... This game is actually better, too bad is already too old and image resolution is less polished than the wii games.

Revolution 3 is considered the best one, and given the features it has, I agree. But then I wish the characters from Gekitou Ninja Taisen Special where all there, too. My post was more oriented to CoNRev2 comparison towards the GameCube CoN2, because even that one was better than the second Wii game (probably ***** you are right, the 4th GC game could have been the best one to play as a CoNRev2)

Most of what you're saying comes off as largely bias. By who's standard is Revolution 3 considered the best of all the Clash of Ninja games? If anything, Revolution 2 should be the front runner in that race. Not only did it polish practically every mechanic from the past games, specifically combo cancelling, balance the roster, and add new features not seen in any Clash of Ninja at the time, it went out of its way to make Clash of Ninja fresh. The first Revolution title didn't pull that off very well after removing characters from Gekitou Ninja Taisen 3 and adding senseless mini-games from EX that didn't need to be there. What an odd game. I just fail to see how Clash of Ninja 2 can be labeled better than Revolution 2 when Clash of Ninja 2 brings little to the forefront as it is only a mere step up from the first bare bones Clash of Ninja. By stark contrast, Revolution 2 not only felt fresh, but the polish was exuberant. Not only that, it had an (...almost) balanced 35 character roster, setting the bar fairly high. The game has its strong points and an even better roster than Revolution 2, but I don't think Revolution 3 measures up to its predecessor very well on a large scale. To each their own I guess, but Revolution 2 was an excellent game.

The_Pot_Dragon I've played all of the Clash of Ninja titles. Even after them all, Revolution 2 still feels the most polished. On top of that, there's the fact that Revolution 2 doesn't have bullshit Story Mode match-ups nor does it turn unlocking one character into a life-long struggle (...Anbu Kakashi).

These days, I play Gekitou Ninja Taisen Special a lot more. Possesses a lot of better mechanics and a great roster of characters, all with varied moveset and applications. For example, it is no longer possible to hit someone with a jutsu while they are getting up. Any smart player will press the A button while getting up and it will allow them to teleport to the other end of the stage. It does use chakra, but losing a small amount of chakra is better than losing a match. some characters can follow-up on the teleport and use a down+X jutsu or a crisis maneuver such as Sasuke's Kirin, Kakashi's Sharingan or Anko's Curse Mark, in order to turn the tabels. Sage Naruto plays like no other character and Raikage is beyond busted and cheap. It's quite fun with people around and it's more fun to master all the characters.

Clash of ninja was AMAZING! My favorite Naruto game was CoNR 4 because in it you also had paper bombs wich you could place strategicly on the floor or shoot at the Enemyand you could also reflect shuriken, Kunai and Paper Bombs and there are also HAND SIGNS!!! Hand signs are sooo cool! i loved this gameee aaaaaahhh. How cool is it that you can reflect some Projectiles with nice timing?? HOW COOL IS IT???!!!!!

You can play online by using the dolphin emulator, which emulates both Wii and Gamecube games. However, you will need to get a build known as the netplay build. I will send you a link to a smashboards post for setting up netplay for Super Smash Bros Melee, but the link for the emulator that allows online play will be included with it. Yeah essentially it's like Baby Tekken, or more closely to Baby Virtua Fighter. This series was always one I sunk hundreds of hours into. Did the same when I got GNT 4 for the first time. I am torn between hoping if ArcSys would focus on a 1 on 1 or Team Style Game. Hopefully, whichever one they would decide to do, you would have the option of doing lower number of teams in a different game mode.

If an opponent ever comes in contact with the ground, they can tech and roll out of the combo. A lot of these would never work for that reason.

RemixTV1000 in Japan the series continued on the gamecube until about like 2005 I think. It was called "Gekitou Ninja Taisen" and had 4 game released for it. In Gekitou Ninja Taisen 3 and 4, characters Like Zabuza, Haku, Iruka and Mizuki stayed, while in the english wii counterpart games Clash of Ninja Revolution 1 and 2, they were removed. Additionally, the Third Hokage was only in Gekitou Ninja Taisen 3 (GNT 3 for short) and Sound 5 and Kimimaru were only in Gekitou Ninja Taisen 4 (GNT4). They never say a release in any of the English games.
