I guess it's a little late now but congratulation to Marion. Glad that she found happiness at last and she looked pretty in her wedding gown (the groom is gorgeous as well). HOWEVER, I'm disappointed upon finding out that Marit was not invited and no where to be found. Maybe she was but could not make it for some reason such as being on tour in another city. Still, it's sad that the duo, who were supposedly best friends, could not even be together on special occasion like this one. It's understandable that two of them lead very different lives, given the genres of music they pursue, but missing a dear friend's wedding is, indeed, very sad in my opinion. I, personally, will never want to miss out on my friend's special day. Oh well, I wish Marit would find her happiness soon and perhaps Marion can attend that one.

+Theclowcard this is a late reply, but I believe Marit was at a different country...I think in the USA. If I remember correctly, she was working on the Spark album around that time... And I don't know...at the time the video was released, Marit fans were asking why Marit wasn't there and only focused on that...it was Marion's big day, and all of the times where I wished people would at least get off her back about the M2m break up & aftermath situation, her wedding should have been at least one of that...someone argued that the wedding is also about the friends in the wedding too, but if that was the case, they'd also comment about Marion's guests as well because they too are parts in her lives.--some bigger than others of course...but they did not. ...They only cared about Marit so that reason was invalid. :/ I guess my point is that I wished there was more focus on Marion and Andreas enjoying their wedding than wondering why Marit wasn't there. Because if it was another person's wedding, if so many people were only wondering why /one/ person didn't show up instead of the celebration of two people being wed, it'd be just as wrong and missed the point of a wedding. :/ And sadly the divorce... Maybe Marit will find hers soon, or maybe she has and is just keeping it private.

chikahoshi Don't get me wrong ... I am so over the M2M breakup because good things must come to an inevitable end. They were only teenagers at the time of their prominence and even when their albums reached fixed number of sales, there would still be no guarantee that they remained together. Plus, they are seemingly happy to move on with their respective lives. In fact, I only grew to love Marit's music and personality more after she pursued solo career (No hard feelings toward Marion but I just dislike rock). And hence, I do not desperately hope for the duo's reunion or collaboration (like those who still cannot mope over the disband) anytime soon considering that their genres are vastly different from each other. Marit even admitted in an interview that she would forever cherish the M2M memories in her heart but musical collaboration might not be the answer for "she has finally achieved status for her own name without Marion's influence." (Well, I made up the part with apostrophe. LOL) I only made my statement on the basis of their friendship. And like I previously said, I would not want to miss out on my very best friend's wedding day. However, things happened and maybe Marit already sent her best regards and blessings whilst Marion gladly understood. I am a follower of Marit's music so I know that she stayed in New York city for a long period of time in order to work on her album "Spark". I just did not know the date which Marion's wedding took place. Now it makes perfect sense. And they divorced already ? =_= Oh well. All I can say is to wish both of them the best of luck in the future.

Thanks for clarifying yourself. I apologize if I sounded like I implied you yourself want them back together. I didn't meant to imply you or even some others want the duo back together. I was just trying to explain what was happening at the time. Some of it still reflects to this day. It's just with Marit and Marion being in the band in the past and with the break up aftermath has so many people blaming Marion. That even when people who come to know or follow Marit before they knew her as M2M don't think much of Marion or might even blame her. Marion really gets a lot of slander (whether it's because what happened in the break up or how her music sounds or changed or how she looks, etc.) to this day even though she is trying to improve; it would be nice for people to just be at least somewhat polite enough to congratulate her (whether it's her own accomplishments or important day) without the need to point out Marit. In come cases, people just straight up only asked where's Marit or Marit didn't attend in the wedding. As seen from the comment section. :P Unless Marion and Marit themselves said that they are best friends in recent years (which you are free to correct me if they said so themselves whether it's an interview or on social media; a link or a specific photo/tweet/etc. would be much appreciated), I don't know if Marion and Marit are best friends like they were when they are younger, but yeah they are friends or at least friendly with each other. I guess like I said before, I just wished there was more focus on Marion's day instead of where's Marit. I know some people like both, but the ones who usually ask where's Marit don't really care about Marion or that it's her special day; they just want to know why Marit isn't there and not much else. Not all of course, it's just usually the scenario. And it's just something if it happened in reverse, I don't think people would appreciate if Marit's wedding day was shift to where's Marion. I don't think Marit would appreciate it much if it happened to her. And I've seen the interview; I'm glad she said it out. It's just nice to see her personally say it herself, you know? I am one who would to like a live performance if they would, though I am not one who'd want them to do anything they'd feel uncomfortable. I'm not sure if you'd call me desperate or moping in that case? I realize you might not trying to offend me; I understand that there are so many people who constantly comment on both's social media about having a reunion, if not every single day. But I guess that's also why I wish people would be just polite enough to lay low about Marit on Marion's wedding day at the time it happened. Marion and Andreas are very quiet about the divorce, for reasons that I'd seem to be obvious like people thinking poorly of it or just simply wanting to keep their reasons private. Both most likely. Her manager was the one to state it according to online articles.

chikahoshi None taken. I was not even offended. LOL. Personally, I like them both but my musical preference leans more toward Marit Larsen. That's all. The M2M breakup had to do more with album sales and management rather than any personal quibble. Marion had the fundamental rights to pursue her own path so it is considered selfish for any of us to prevent her progress for the sake of a defunct band which was subsequently discontinued after Atlantic Records dropped them. I genuinely thought that Marion was more popular amongst M2M fans than Marit and she would naturally receive a lot of support upon her solo route. Now that's something shocking. =_= I guess some still do not appreciate the inherent fact that people change over the years, whether its about the music genre, appearance, or style. I did not know much of Marion's path after she switched music genre but I would still be supportive of her success. I actually came to watch this video for Marion rather than Marit (duh). I can listen to Marit's songs anytime on my phone. However, I guess my comment might have made a different (and somehow wrong) impression with you. Regarding some of Marit's bitter and rude fans, I sincerely apologize on their stupid behalf. However, it bears noting that these individuals are only the mean M2M fans who want to use Marion as a scapegoat to blame and ridicule. When something unpleasant occurs, it is much easier to find and attack an easy target instead of looking the bigger picture. Like I previously stated, they mope over the breakup and desperately hope for the (nearly) impossible. And I can assure you that those who freshly follow Marit Larsen's music without their awareness of her M2M past would not bear any animosity toward Marion or even think of her. Why ? There's no point because they only care about Marit's music, not any unnecessary and non-existent drama stirred up by those who cannot move on. I would not mind a concert reunion or a rare collaboration but I guess both parties are not chronologically ready yet. Maybe when they both reach the respective achievement they hope for, then the "miracle" might actually happen. For now, let them rightfully enjoy their individual success. On the matter of their friendship, only Marit and Marion know the current state of their relationship. It depends upon them to decide and proceed. We cannot have any power to do so. Nevertheless, speaking from experience, distance does not necessarily mean a mental breakdown in a relationship, Yes, friendship can fade through time and distance but if both parties are willing and able to work out the physical distance, then they would not feel very far from each other, given the present ease of technology usage meant for communication. I did not meet my very best friend / childhood friend (of 16 on-and-off years) for 6 years after moving to a different country and only saw him once after my short visit 2 years ago. Yet we still talk to each other constantly every 2 days on social media and do not feel any different or distant with each other. In fact, we do not even feel like we're half a globe away from each other. LOL Therefore, I believe Marit and Marion will still react naturally with each other like their younger selves used to when they encounter one another. Your instinct to behave around someone who is close to you for a long period of time (in their case, 15 years) snaps back and relapses even in a fast second. Well ... I have no comment on the divorce because it is Marion's personal matter and not a topic of any public affair. Her fans should continue to support her no matter what. Have a joyous day.

+Theclowcard I was too young to have really lived through the time they were still in a band, so I'm not 100% sure which M was the more popular one. But I do understand why Marion would be lean towards that way based on other reasons someone wrote in his blog about the situation. There's old Norwegian and English articles that reflected their time in M2M aside from album sales and the record company, but they're like, more-or-less, tens-years-old? The best way I can say is what Marion said that sometimes people just drift away, and not like big drama like you (and Marit :p) said. Which, also, I really do emphasize how long time friendships can fade and come back, considering I also had off and on friendships with one good friend. I guess I mentioned whether or not they're the best friends because you used yourself as a comparison for attending a best friend's wedding, which the most sense, I guess at least to me, is that you were saying they're best friends with your comparison. And apologies again. I just usually tell when there's more of a favoritism towards one over the other (which is totally okay to have a preference), and sometimes the comments just rubs off that way. I apologize. I do acknowledge not every fan is not all like that. Though I know there are those who belittle Marion want a M2M reunion, there are a handful of those kind of fans who don't wish for them to come back nor think they are friends, which is fine to not like Marion. Just only they let her be. Marit stated herself that she doesn't tolerate bullying, and maybe if some fans knew she doesn't support it, they might use a better way to express themselves. I know though some fans won't even if they were asked by Marit herself. Just from what I've seen. But thank you for the sincerity, even though you didn't have to. I appreciate it. Likewise.
