I love to watch everything you're making. You have such a wonderful artistic gift. Even if I know how to do a technique, I still like to see what others are doing with it and your creations are inspiring. I think the vote for one of five should become a quarterly/seasonal (or third of a year) event. Add one unfinished project to replace the one finished, add more if you got a few of them done, or even make a selection from a totally new group. It's all a lot of fun.

You can also use carbon paper to trace it on to your fabric. Carbon comes out in the wash. My mother in law taught me and for intricate tracings like words it works great

Thank you Marion for your video today. I am so excited as I always wanted to try this technique. Thank you for the pattern I will go and download it and get it stitched in readiness. Have a lovely time at the wool show. Never say you don't need anything. We had a bit of a fare in our village and all the shops had open air stalls. I was at the wool stall, I need no wool. I got a couple of balls of very odd texture wool that in my head I am stitching or needle felting with ,very smug was I 😏 . Then spotted a lovely winter jumper pattern. Yup pattern and wool bought, well it would be rude not to and let's be honest a winter jumper is never wasted here in the UK.😂😂

Happy to be anticipating your demo on Trapunto. It used to be used extensively on very high end couture fashion and I found it to be a beautiful addition to surface work on garments. I used it over 50 years ago, as a student and we were not taught how to do it, just figure it out for yourself. I think it was Schiappareli's clothes that I researched?? Your projects are wonderful, Marion.

Thanks Ann. I just taught myself years ago. I just loved trying out all sorts of things from old library books! I don't think people do it much anymore but it's such an interesting way of quilting. I'll see how everyone likes the simplified version 🤞 I have an idea for something else but didn't want to put anyone off trying it out...☺️

Hi, I have just watched your video and am a little confused about the thin fabric you used to draw the pattern on the window. I understand the thin fabric is easier to get the image. You have it on the back of your page fabric and your pattern drawn on the page fabric. Is the thin fabric on the back of your page used to fill the quilting? I think missed something? Thanks Suzanne

Hi Suzanne. Sorry if I confused you... I'd already drawn my page out so I was just showing the way of transferring the pattern. It's your page fabric that you need to put the pattern on. The fine fabric gets basted on to the back after you've done the embroidery. I know that some are using separate pages but mine are all on one long tablecloth piece. I hope that makes sense?🤔 By all means message again or through Instagram...
