The choice of date for placing this item on the web is also intended to mark the first anniversary of the death of Marios Tokas on 27th April 2008 (on Orthodox Easter Sunday one year ago), when mourners at the graveside spontaneously sang this song to express their last goodbyes to this great Cypriot artist. There is continuing profound sadness and grief still felt deeply by very many people at the premature passing of that great man, Marios Tokas.

Ως που είναι στην μέση οι πολιτικοί λύση δεν βλέπουμε ούτε σε χίλια χρόνια.Αν όμως αφήσουν τον απλό κόσμο Ελληνοκύπριους και Τουρκοκύπριους πιστεύω ότι θα έρθουμε ποιο κοντά και θα ζήσουμε όπως ζούσαν και οι πρόγονοί μας στα παλιά τα χρόνια.
