Very simple explanation for us newbies. Thanks for the video and look forward to the next one.

Very well explained, as always! I use a potentiometer to control the speed of a Stepper Motor. The Pot reading is mapped to a number that is used for the delay between HIGH and LOW for the voltage sent to the Stepper Driver. This works well except with a very short delay, the motor can stall. I need to "ramp up" the motor speed to avoid stalling. How could I take the Pot reading and if it is a very small number (short delay), use a higher number and increment slowly to the Pot reading? Thanks Mario! Regards.

Any thoughts why my B10k potentiometer reads 0-255 for the first quarter of turning, and then if I turn just a little more, it starts back at 0 all the way to 255 again as I keep turning, and does this two more times? As I turn the knob clockwise from one end to the other, the values are: 0-255, 0-255, 0-255, 0-255

Not sure. My immediate reaction would be that there is something wrong with it. Do you have just one?

I understand 3-pin potentiometer configuration. But there is some circuits that use only 2 pin of potentiometer. Why is that? Why does it work?
