Marisa is a national treasure. She is also beautiful in the inside. I was lucky enough to have met her way back in the day when I Dj'd at a small little spot called bOb's. Lower East Side NYC* She became a regular on my nights, mainly because she loves old school salsa music, and that was pretty much my forte back then. It's been awesome to see her flourish and age like pure fine wine. I look forward to seeing this film 🥰

The trailer's tone reminds me of Barry Jenkins' masterpiece, "Moonlight," (2016). There's something about the loneliness of being a masculine Black queer man who is expected to mold himself into a rigid definition of masculinity that usually depends on heterosexuality seems to permeate this film, even though only one character is Black. I would love to see a film with a similar vibe that highlights two Black Brazilian men falling in love. Besides these observations, I can't wait to see this film.
