You look the same Nothing round you ever changed Behind tall trees, plenty of grass And white pine leaves This is not your world anymore I sat in the car in the shadowed topiary gardens I had long imagined where you lived The skin of your palms And some strange pardon [Chorus] All the colors of the dark Of all the colors of the heart All the colors of the dark Of all the colors You had left your mark Change change I got married on a Sunday afternoon [Verse 2] Summer's singing I am not the same Still marking "X" for days It's not that things go away Took you on a subterranean ride Columbine and clover Grapes grow on the vine I must have made years of surrender You see it all the time [Chorus] All the colors of the dark Of all the colors of the heart All the colors of the dark Of all the colors of the heart You had left your mark Change change I got married on a Sunday afternoon

I'm a metalhead, and I like Xasthur. I discovered your music because I know you worked with him on an album of his. I'm very impressed with your music. It's dark, and emotional. It's atmospheric and creative. My applause to you.

Thanks for being here for me, Marissa. A very special person introduced you to me, long ago. She's not with me anymore; I lost her, you see. Your song will always remind me of her, always.

She's remarkable. BTW loving the Svankmajer vibe to the video.

Saw her tonight in Orlando...really great set. I purchased July on vinyl at the show from her. Talked and chatted with her. Really nice woman. As far at the mystery of 'is she playing bass for Ghost?'; I'm not sure. She seemed to be a bit too tall for the Ghoulette I saw on stage tonight.

"Things change, I got married on a Sunday afternoon." So beautiful and breathtaking!

Amazing work- July was one of my favorite records of a few years ago, but Strangers surpasses it. You've expanded your sound without compromising what was already lovely. The extra instruments in the arrangements, far from hiding your voice, only seem to accentuate it. Plus the film-making skills in the video show yet another talent.

Absolute and unique! Your creativity outshines even the stars that you were born under!..what a joy and inspiration you have stirred inside of me. It must be this very decisive week... Is this the first time someone has told you that angels are clearing some rather large hubris and you think to yourself YES! now that you mention it... Tide pools have been gathering and this week has been building with breakneck tempo..Now you see your headline published in the phoenix new times. First one call then, another then, another and they are whipping up a storm because you were just asked to showcase on late night!! You had decided to keep calm and stay on regular schedule so you opened your notebook and checked fan correspondence .. at what must be the right time for you to catch my eye! It takes a lot for someone to pop up on my radar but how triumphant are you? VERY! ..more prose.. National attention watches you smash the perception that contrasts convention away from art. Like the black and white that you soften the edges of your art. I know that you know how to soothe the eye; what an absolute cornucopia of creativity you have dazzled about and draped in this play of albedo and nigredo. I have only made two stop! motion gallerias and the first was so low budget that I had delegated the staring role to a playing card. My second galleria was made 5 years to the day and; only 15 minutes into production I found that manipulating frames was dragging me down to a new low in enthusiasm. I kept my chin up - nose down put my shoulder to the 10 minute wheel and; a few seconds later..Eye beheld the most heavenly inspiration! What caught my eye looking through the still frame while I lined up my shots..It happens.. and I hadn't noticed but, now in hindsight how the light danced when i bent a pocket sized lenticular lens within my still frame...and CLICK.. Happenstance gathers in drops but Serendipity arrives by the trough and so; low and..well.. I beheld -in my hand- a whole new way to transition my substrates and; Do you recall my exclamation that the moment filled with pulsing exasperation turned to desperation where frame manipulation weighed down my enthusiasm? Well it hadn't -beholding- me down much after that (drum roll) no need to read that again. You got it in perfect time. Just like I knew you would. Perfect rhythms are a communication and the only way to see what it all means is through a great expanse of the only life changing un palpable force that gives us everything we need to reap our own bennific but; makes us go a soft rubbery one when its all used up and taken away. Its a riddle and its all we have. What does it make us? It.. is a consonant and a vowel combined to make a syllable. That is even more preposterous, that is about the same..but has 2 consonants and 2 vowels.
