Well amazon prime released all seasons (atleast in austria) so u can watch it there... i finished it today and i really feel sad about it.. even though the eight season was the weakest of all and the ending was kinda horrible + the rumours going around nathan and stanas unhealthy relationship during the last seasons.. but still the first 6-7 seasons were really nice... The way I see is that this show was a love story disguised as a crime mystery drama. To think that they actually considered continuing on with the show without Stana. The people who took over the show after the creator left clearly had no idea what this show was truly about.

I was so young when I watched this TV serie for mistake, but I loved it since the beginning, and I was so sad when I saw the last episode. Castle and Beckett were one of my favourite couple, they had funny moments together, but also serious and lovely moments, they were a perfect mix, and I'll never get bored of this serie.

Castle was a great show but it reached its peak in the penultimate episode of Season Six. The Finale that followed the penultimate episode of the sixth season was the first sign that the writers were losing the plot and then the opening arc of the Eighth season effectively sealed the show's fate. I would rather remember the great things that Castle did than the not so great. Despite it's writing problems in its later seasons it still remained a good enough show and will be a show that I'll remember for a long time.

Personally I think someone was after Nathan Fillion. On every other production he's been in the cast and crew have all said they loved working with him and he's a top bloke. I also find it strange that Stana herself has said absolutely nothing about him being a bully who made her cry, especially now when half of Hollywood is being hammered for just that sort of harrassment (although the sexual misconduct is getting more press because it sells more papers or gets more clicks). In fact so far as I can tell there was NO proof from anywhere that there was any sort of bad vibe between them. Surely if such a thing had been true at least some of that would have been caught on camera (between takes or whatever) and leaked onto the web because in this day and age EVERYTHING leaks. I may be seeing 'conspiracy' here but my honest opinion is that abc canned this because of money and ratings, perhaps as a way to avoid admitting that Stana was being paid less than Nathan and they didn't want the hammering they'd deservedly get for that. By saying it's bad chemistry and Fillion being painted as an evil bully by crew members they sidestepped the entire issue quite neatly.

I do not buy the whole Stana and Nation hating each other and that Nathan was a bully. Because seriously a big flaw in that, everyone else that he has worked with before Castle has said the complete opposite. Everyone he has worked with before castle throughout his career has said that he was a joy to be with, that he was friendly and easy to get along with. There are interviews out there where his other co-workers all agree that they enjoyed working with him etc and no they were not paid to say that either. I think its more that someone has something against Nathan so they just create these rumours. Plus I find it strange that Stana has said absolutely nothing about Nathan Bullying her

Stana is a sweetheart, so all that crap about her being a diva and impossible to work with is false. Nathan even said so himself that she was easy to work with. I can't speak for Nathan but I have a feeling he's a good person, he wouldn't be in so many movies if he wasn't easy or nice to work with.

I find the allegations of bad chemistry between Fillion and Katic hard to believe. Partly because on every other production Fillion has been involved in pretty much every single person he worked with has described him as a joy to be around. I also think if he was truly the bully he's alleged to have been then surely some of that would have been caught on camera (say between takes) and leaked onto the internet long ago. I may be seeing 'conspiracy' but I think it's more likely abc wanted to avoid the issue of Stana being paid significantly less than Nathan and the backlash they'd have got for that had it come out. One other thing I find conspicuous. Right now and for the last several months we've seen half of Hollywood being hammered for harassment, sexual AND other forms including unconscionable bullying. If Nathan Fillion had been doing such things how come no one's come forward with a public and credible allegation. To my knowledge Stana Katic herself has said nothing of the kind so correct me if I'm wrong. By pointing the finger at Fillion and 'ratings' issues the whole money and who got paid what issue was very neatly sidestepped.

It's a lot more complicated than that. Stana was the one who was full diva on set, and Nathan got sick of it. Stana treated everyone like shit, everyone was beneath her. Nathan got pissed at Stana getting her way on set (mostly due her being a complete fucking bitch to everyone), including not sitting at the same table when they did table read and called out that he is the one this show was built around, not Katic (the production tried to please Katic before the rest). After season one's success Stana had her royal presence at the same table with everyone else, but that only lasted for half a season, no one liked her and they went back to separate tables. Katic killed the show and will kill any show she will ever "star" (Absentia whooops no one on the crew, yet again, wants to work with her). These are the facts coming from a guy who worked on set.

Rewatching these scenes gives more detail on facial expressions that tell the story more than the dialogue. Especially towards the end of season 3 and season 4. Right, when Kate tries to kiss Castle again, she has the expression of did I mess it up or miss my chance? Another word was she too late to make love with the man she's liked since season 3 and 4. Castle then looks into Kate's eyes to make sure she isn't crisis helping herself to make him apart of her life. Other scenes really give off the story without dialogue, which is extremely hard to do.

4x21 I think it's called "Slaughter". Castle teams up with a gang cop called Slaughter (who just happens to be one of the cast of Firefly) and Beckett gets really confused because at this point she doesn't realise Castle knows she remembers everything from when she was shot. Castle believes she hasn't said anything about it because she doesn't share his feelings and he goes kind of off the rails in Ep 20 (The Limey) and this one. In Ep 22 he finally understands that Kate was simply too stressed by the shooting and its aftermath to really let her feelings for Rick loose. Then in Ep 23 (the season 4 finale) they finally, FINALLY get together.
