I really like your tutorials. I can sit here and watch without saying " huh, what? I need to rewind how'd she do that again? Lol. Your the best. I don't use a Denman brush, however I realized that my Tangle Teezer produces similar results. Seriously! I hope you will try it one day.

We have almost the same hair! My hair is wavy/almost straight (when not defined lol) at the nape of my neck but is much curlier at the top. I don’t know why my hair is like that but it’s cool to see someone else has that! Biggest difference is that your hair is much visibly longer lol and my hair has a tighter curl at the ends. But I love your channel! We’re still similar enough for me to follow your channel/advice hehe

Ah this is what I have been waiting for! I have the Denman brush as well, and I notice that IF I use it for styling it kinda seems like my hair gets stuck in the brush which will eventually will result in hair loss... and I did watch a lot of vids about the brush, I guess it is just not for me. So THANK YOU!

I think the results are gorgeous! You’ve got the wavy curls combo, the volume is insane, although it seems like you always get great volume. I used to fight volume as it happened naturally, now as I do things differently with my hair, it’s hard to come by. Also, I know you often mention the straight pieces that you have underneath that you just sort of blend in with your curls. Well I have the straight piece as well, same area, and I used to pride myself on the piece. I would show my co -workers like look at this straight strand, it’s soft, I can brush it if I wanted. Now I’m like you just don’t belong next to the curls & waves! 🤣

My hair tends to be weighted down, especially at the roots (the straightest part of my hair!!!), but at the same time, it needs hold and moisture because it gets suuuper frizzy :( I have a similar curl pattern as you

Thank you so much! And when I do a middle part I just have to fluff both sides to make sure there’s volume. Sometimes my hair just feels like it gets shocked when I do a different part so I pay more attention to fluffing and adding more volume on each side

Would you say you use a dime size amount of gel for each section that you were doing? I have similar hair to you, but I always have frizz. Maybe I’m not using enough product...

I would say closer to a quarter sized amount! I used to have that problem too, not using enough product. I also saw a huge difference once I started separating my hair and applying products to each section instead all at one time :)

Can you please do a routine with air dry to see the results cause that’s what I’m currently doing & i don’t own a hair dryer anymore plus it’s hot here & I can’t get my curls right. It seems flat. I want to see how I can get nice curls with air dry.

I’m pretty sure I have the same curl type as you so Im living on your every word if it has to do with your hair 💯 You are so beautiful and id bet you get called Mariah all the time! What’s your favorite curl cream & or gel if you use both together or 1 at a time? I end up wasting so much $$ on products that don’t work for me 4 real! I’m ordering a denman brush I’ve never had only ever used wide tooth comb. Thx love✌🏽
