Extra martial affair is crime only if it is done by husband. In this husband is booked under " mental cruelty against wife " and court send him jail. Meanwhile if wife do Adultery it is women empowerment and she is also eligible for maintenance

If marital rap_ becomes a law in India then all other women centric laws must be made gender neutral. DV, 498A, adultery laws and alimony laws and other women centric laws must be made gender neutral so that estranged husbands can also file complaints and get justice. Male su'c'de r@te is very high in India when compared to women and majority of them are due to matrimonial disputes. Women have a National Commission for Women(NCW) to voice their complaints to the govt while men have no national body of their own. It's high time to recognise that CRIME HAS NO GENDER.
