This always reminds me of times when I was sitting with a good friend in her room, smoking cigarettes, drinking wine, talking for hours. It was in the 90s, there was just friendship and music and dancing, we were young and wild and free.... We loved The Cure, U2, Depeche Mode, The Police and Albums like this. Oh, and the new stuff that came out: Nirvana, Pearl Jam, Soundgarden. What a great time to be young, I am very thankful for that. Makes me very emotional today.

Wow, I think that is the deepest thing I have ever read. I got MC on vinyl in 1985 when I was late teens. Nothing to look forward to, small town bullies, mass unemployment, but then I looked back and thought that we are all in this together, the people giving me grief were listening to the same music, and for my situation I did something about it. For me I joined the Royal Air Force just as clutching at straws came about. After 30 years life is not so good but I will wake to a new dawn.
