I graduated in 2018, and went through Indoc in 2013 which was a 14 day process back then. In hindsight , it's an easy process but for someone who was very out of shape and lacked any sort of social confidence, it was the hardest thing I had ever done. The PT killed me and the regimented lifestyle was tough, as I had no discipline in my childhood. Despite that though, those 2 weeks were transformative. It's a culture shock for sure, but the most important thing to do is to be where you're supposed to be- when you're supposed to be, and look how you're supposed to look.

I’m applying to mass maritime right now and want to go into the merchant marines. Does it matter what you are majoring in, or can any major get merchant marines qualifications? I’m applying for energy systems engineering btw.
